Cant believe what happened to Ferrari. Dire race given their relative pace post summer.

Congratulations to Hamilton, with every year he gets better and better. Hard to stop when hes in this sort of form.

I'll be honest. I never thought his numbers would be threatened in my lifetime.

    Vettel congratulating Lewis!
6 champions wow how many can he get?

Did kvyat have another accident on last lap to get in points? Didn't he do that in Mexico?

An enjoyable race, though too much DRS dependant. Albon fought back well to get best of the rest, something Gasly couldn't do and showing RBR were right. Sentimennt doesn't pay the bills.
A deserved 6th title for Lewis, he's been consistently the best since he gave Rosberg a title.

It is a near certainty that he will match Schumacher next year. Exceding him will be determined by how Merc adapt to the new regs but is a strong possibility.

Never been a fan, but he deserves this. Obviously he's had the car, but he's been tested against the very best right from his first race in F1 with the likes of Alonso, Button and Rosberg as teammates. He's also made the previous superstar of this generation, Sebastian Vettel, look decidedly average in the title fights of 2017&2018.

Unquestionably the best driver of his generation and now has to be in the discussion when we talk about the best of all time.

Kvyat given 5sec penalty so Perez gets 10th back and kvyat ends up 12th.
2nd race in a row he has had accident on last lap and been penalised.

Had to stay up for Channel 4 to watch yesterday. Predictable he would bring home the WDC barring a DNF. Lewis is a decent bloke and motivated, he has more to offer and hope he keeps his motivation. His Dad wants him to keep going for 5 more years. I am left wondering about the coincidence in Ferrari performance and clarification on fuel flow. Disappointed if this is the reason as it consigns Ferrari to a lower place on the grid whereas I am hoping for a genuine 3 way battle between the teams next year, if not muddled by a 4th
Well done to Ricciardo, that was a good result for Renault, he needs to deliver performances like that to justify his salary.
I think Albon deserves a drive with Red Bull next year although I saw a headline that Nico was being considered by Red Bull, might be as a test/reserve driver position though, I guess.
There was suspense until the end yesterday making the WDC a secondary thought.
Mercedes, 6 consecutive doubles but I am looking forward to next year believing it will genuinely be tight. Will be watching the Ferrari performance closely over the next two races.

I have to believe Lewis has either upset the Taxman or doesn't want an honour. Not sure which, it might be both.

We seem to have lost Cosicave and their input, which is a shame.

Lewis head and shoulders the best driver under pressure on the grid these days and no surprise he has wrapped up the title with a couple of races to spare.

    Awesome drive.

I have to say though, it’s never ever been quite so clear Tier1 Tier2 - the front three teams are so far clear it’s making the whole thing sterile.

Imagine this grid in close competition with the likes of Sainz, Norris, Ricciardo, Perez, Russell snapping at the heels of the establishment. Some smashing drivers out there in cars that can’t win races.
