Solidarity to the Preston fans, being forced to travel down on a Sunday at a crazy hour. Patrick Bauer deserves a hero’s reception.
The attendance will be interesting tomorrow. Kids for a Quid....but a horrible 12pm kick off. I reckon 15,000
I think I heard on SSN that Preston have gone ballistic about unauthorised approaches by Stoke. They said no permission was given, and now it won't be. They're complaining to the FA, or the EFL, or whoever you complain to.
The weather might dampen down the attendance, even more than Sky have managed to. 15,000 would be a very decent showing.
Been meaning to start this thread for a couple of days now. I'm back here for this one and Royston and I had sounded out meeting for a quick beer prematch (politics strictly banned ) but the kick off makes that a real problem. Looking forward to a trip to the Valley of dreams, but a win will be a big ask.
Hopefully I will make it to the Valley today. I have been feeling better the last few days, but woke up this morning feeling unwell.
It’s clear from social media that these 12 noon kick offs are a massive arse ache for a lot of people, me included. When you work all week this basically takes out the whole of Sunday. should be 2pm or later.
