I was happy with that, it was nothing amazing but we looked to attack all game and with a better forward on we'd have scored a few because chances were being made.

Dobson was excellent, captain in the making if he keeps that up. O'Nien and Hume both very good too, pleased for Hume as he's got his doubters.

 

Glad got 3 points bairn had a good time but wasn't the best performance.

Hume played well McGeady had poor decision making and Grigg as per usual is a lazy ****e.

 

Well I was way out with my prediction. I’ll still take the win.

Pretty lethargic display In the main against an extremely poor team, we never really got going. Never looked like losing though either, few near me pissing their pants for the last half hour

I was recently asked who I'd have as captain, it was Dobson.

I had Hume as MOTM before kick off.

So I'm feeling pretty pleased with your comments tonight.

 

1-0 was a joke should have been better, with Maddison and another midfielder we should get there. Southend were better organised than Tranmere though and other teams slipped as well !.

 

Result is all that mattered but that was awful. So slow and one paced, plus the final ball into the box was terrible. Hume or Dobson motm

 

Gooch one of our best players vs tranmere imo. Missed him since his injury.

1 winger needed, and 2 strikers who have better reaction times and pace. Grigg just slow to react and move to the ball.

The big positive was the three points, the fact that Hume and Dobson played so well is another huge boost for the likes of Embleton, Robson and Mumba who are close to making the breakthrough imo. If Watmore and Gooch can stay injury free they will be another huge lift for us in the wide areas all these players putting pressure on the current under performers already identified.

We need Gooch back for his energy. It just isnt happening for McGeady at the minute.

I would like to try, when fit, De Bock at LB and Hume on the left wing. Move O9 back to RB and Dunc or Gucci on the right wing.

I did notice we tried more low and hard balls into the centre today to help Grigg. Didnt work although he did have one decent header. Surely if Parky doesnt play McNulty as his 1st choice he MUST give Benji a chance.
