Watford v Chelsea. Watford behead into their eleventh fixture of the season, winless, toothless and nearly soulless. QSF´s men need to dig themselves out of grave danger. The Hornets have five points on the board and as many ghouls to show for it. If we are to keep up with the rest of the phantoms at the bottom of the table, we have to reaper a win soon. If not, the pressure mounts and the burden of being tombstoned to the bottom of the tabe might goblin us up, how mortifying. Fang Lampard (Jnr) has worked wonders with Chelsea after the club was forced to use its array of youthful talent due to a transfer ban, surprising really as those players had nearly given up the ghost on their Chelsea future. Not only are they now fourth in the table but they are winning plaudits for their style. At the time of writing this thread they play Man Utd in the reserve cup tonight (Wed). So, they have less time to recover as Watford lost to Everton yesterday (Tues) with a ghastly performance, another nail in the coffin for Watford's trophy attempts. This next chapter in Watford's campaign will be broadcasted on television for all unearthly worlds to see. For those of you who fear not and think we could get something out of this game, I'd like to remind you that you are dead wrong. Don't be cross, in reality Watford's record is shocking against the top six and we have already come back to draw 2-2 against Arsenal and let in a late ghoul for a 1-1 away to Tottenham, that's us done putting their joints out of place for the season then. QSF is already frightening the handbreak and wondering witch one of our players will spook and miss the only chance that fall to us during the game before Chelsea get the first ghoul and we inevitably crumble to another loss. For those of you brave souls who are going, I wish you the best of luck, as I am sure does Catrina. Here it'll be day of the dead. I fear Watford's season is already looking at Mictlāntēuctli. ¡¡COYH COYH COYH !!
I am taking part in an informal singing of Faure's Requiem at Dunblane Cathedral on Saturday - ie anyone can turn up on the day, practise for a few hours and then give a performance to anyone who turns up. Have sung it before, it's a fabulous piece so did not want to miss the opportunity. This means if I join you for Mex's Saturday Halloween, I will probably only make the second half of the exorcism.
Don't worry ! Success is fit - will he fire the goals to lead us to safety ? (We can all dream ..) https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-watford-still-several-injuries-chelsea-game/
Well these spasmodic players have got to come good from sometime.. Let's hope whoever is in front of goal get it right for us a couple of times tomorrow.
