Big lads bashing each other

Aye that's what I'm hoping bad result out the way for today and tbh the weather looks spot on over Tyneside clear skies hope its going to be the same over at the SOL come match time.

 

Saw the first twenty minutes before going to work and you could tell then we were in for a tough match.
My view is We peaked one match too early and didn't have enough in the tank for today.
SA however did enough to get to the final and were at it from the start and were deserved winners.
Finals are always the same, it's the team who turns up on the day that usually wins, being favourites has nowt to do with it imo.

 

I said similar earlier in the thread. The All Blacks were Englands final and i think it took it out of them whereas the Boks just played a slow leisurely Welsh side

 

Best team won , Sinkler having to go off so early certainly didn’t help as he is so strong and the team missed him in the scrum . South Africa took advantage of their power and got penalty after penalty , De Klerk delayed putting the ball in giving them an advantage as our lads couldn’t handle their strength and our scrum crumbled . Certainly enjoyed the tournament just a pity we couldn’t manage to win it .
