Another nice ride from the apprentice to follow. Thats a big ten pounds he is able to claim for his yard.
A few to carry the burden of my hopes and money... Ascot - 2:10 - Capeland, Brynoy & Nicholls partnership, which usually scores @ 8/1 2:45 - Didtheyleavuoutto, tracker horse that could still be improving, cd winner @ 7/1 3:20 - Springtown Lake, usually runs very well fto @ 10/1 Wetherby - 1:20 - Oak Vintage, Wooly has convinced me @ 4/1 3:05 - The Worlds End, stepped up from the hurdles to win twice last year, hopefully can step up here @ 9/2 4:10 - Romeo Brown, lto winner, given 3lb rise, should have enough against the rest @ 3/1 Good luck to all who are playing today... Need something to cheer me up after this mornings disappointment...!!
La chanteuse looks like the sort of horse who’ll go well on the ground in the Ayr bumper, bit of a skinny price though.
I missed the first 2 races at Down Royal but a wide margin juvenile winner (one for you notebook Nass?) and Envoi Allen winning on hurdles debut means I'll have to find time for the replays
Well done Mall - thought mine was going to win at the last, but forgot he was carrying a penalty - me
Having backed Kenzai Warrior against Kinross last week I had to stay with him at the same 14/1 odds for the re-arranged Horris Hill at Newmarket when betting opened. Hus stamina may come into play and he beat Max Vega on his debut, form boosted by the runner up twice since.Kinross went to the Futurity and Kenxai Warrior is now half the original 14/1 now in places but knowing the drill he probably won't collect for me.
What the hell??? Diego De Charmil doing roller derby on Capeland in the 210pm Ascot. Did he clear the fence? Yes, he went over and through the tall bit at the end of the fence. He defo had a grudge against Capeland anyway, you could clearly see it... Was like Senna vs Prost for thoroughbreds
