Go watch it back regarding the penalty I mentioned and the next tackle ... you obviously don't understand the rules ... or much else. BTW my heritage is Irish ... I have no bias towards England ... but unlike you I don't turn on a team for losing ... when the real reason is simply that the opposition got it right and played better on the day. Your cup isn't just half empty ... what's left in it is bitter and lacking in humility.
the team played **** simple as that I haven't turned on anyone I Just say it like it is mate. just a game I don't know the players so **** them all basically now I will prepare for another embarrassing performance at the Olympic stadium
Wonderful moment in sport, watching a black lad of humble origins from a tough South African township lifting the Rugby world cup in a far away land as a captain of his country. Some things transcend sport.
Not releasing is always a subjective decision of the referee and it should be applied evenly to both sides. Today it wasn’t. Having said that, they manoeuvred us into playing their game. That plus some fantastic defence decided the game.
too many people copy the crap the pundits spit out and not just in Rugby ! people need to realise they don't say what they really think and have to be as neutral as possible. Englands performance was terrible on the day and South Africa took them apart and that is the bottom line .
No one is doubting that SA were the better team...you just seem angry about everything Must be the Roids
Be nice to him. He sad he's got two sisters who are a bit slutty. You can come with me to the meet-up.
Plus he penalised us for holding on and allowing SA more time. One of the scrum penalties should have been against SA. Penalty for coming in from the side should have been against SA who didn’t roll away pllus they were allowed deliberate wheeling.
What was the decision though, that's the question? I don't get that rule, at all. South African stronger in that scrum, here's a penalty. What the **** is that about?
You’re right to an extent, and of course, the front row will never agree with the decision. Usually it’s something like standing up in the scrum, although that can be caused by the other front row deliberately driving upwards. Deliberately collapsing the scrum, deliberate wheeling, etc...
I dont really know either. I found it annoying last week too. Knock on, penalty to SA in the scrum and suddenly you're back in your half. Has the biggest affect on the game out of all the set pieces.
It's an odd one. Surely the purpose of the scrum is to win it, dominate, get possession and territory. If you do that, why also be given a penalty? It's like the old football rule; defender gives away a penalty and you had to send him off as well. Ludicrous.
I predicted a SA win against England about 2 years ago. I got odds of 250-1 and put 10 grand on it. Not a bad return.
Watched the entire game, seems like England were knackered from the off. It's a long tournament and Erasmus I believe managed his forward pack very carefully so that there was an even spread of minutes to avoid getting burnt out. Difference was obvious. Thought that was a strange mistake to make from Eddie Jones, but it is what it is.
