Or that the gates were down to a level more fitting of a club in the lower half of League 1. No matter who is to blame, the facts were there to see , our crowds were piss poor and we were not in a healthy position to stay in this league or attract a buyer. Mismanagement and supporter apathy isn't a good mix and both obviously go hand in hand, although not at all clubs. So what do we do as a club if no-one seriously wants ( or has the cash) to buy the club ? The owners accept responsibility for their mistakes, rectify them and the supporters come back on board. Or we continued to rot from the head down ?
Good post - I only stopped going when the membership fiasco meant kids were paying the same as adults, now concessions are back the only thing stopping me going is apathy, I take holidays in football season now, get involved in family stuff on a Saturday, I can watch City on iFollow - I'm not waiting for the Allams to leave, I'm just struggling to get motivated. I'll take a couple in and hopefully the Saturday buzz will return.
Yes I know they’re not paid. And I have little to no expectation of them. Whether it is resolved or not the rep didn’t help resolve anything. I’m not upset about anything, I was just trying to explain to you as you said you didn’t know what was going on that’s all.
Which is why he is trying. Don't want to be negative about them but I think people will see why I am..I really hope I'm proved wrong though.
I will add that the Allams are not the only reason I dont attend ! Football has just lost its shine to me and I will struggle to get that buzz I had for 35+ years back! Even on the telly I've watched only one full football match since England WC Semi . It's just how it feels to me I'd love to have that buzz again .
