Just seen Samcro has won.. sounds like it was convincing. Could take some beating this season if kept sound..
well done stick , the unrivalled king of the bumpers , grade 1 also very good judge , must be showing a healthy profit for the year ? Unfortunately i only did mine as a single last night , and in a L15 early doors , had another winner and a non runner so paid well , but foolishly didn’t put either Bumper kings or grade ones in it
Well it didn't take long for the Kinross bubble to burst. He was well pumped and I think he was in the wrong race after originally being in the 7F Horris Hill. Timeform gave it the usual hype about him being sure to be suited in stepping up to a mile today but he didn't look like it today. Mogul was also disappointing and I think we won't see him in a better light until he he gets a real strong stamina test. His odds for the 2000 Guineas and Derby were both laughable for different reasons but he may be a Leger horse in time. Kameko won easily and it looks like he would have beaten the O'Brien posse in the original race, although the soft ground might have helped Aidan's plodders. Most of the Coolmore horses have looked pretty slow for a few seasons now. Skybet pushed Kinross out to 25/1 for the 2000 Guineas but others have him at 12/1 still. It's unlikely their phones will be ringing. Today's race looked a mistake from trainer Ralph Beckett. A 5 grand Novice race and then straight to Group 1 looked a silly progression and with that kind of thinking it is unlikely that Ralph will improve his poor record in developing promising 2YO winners as 3YOs.
