    Or are they ...

( Taken from the BBC )

Although the rules have been unanimously approved by the World Council, there remains a degree of doubt about whether they will be adopted.

This rests on the fact that Ferrari, who have been resolute in their opposition to the specifics of the rules but not their objectives, have within their contract a right of veto of any rule changes they believe to be counter to their interests.

Ferrari, who have a seat on the World Council, have five days to exercise the veto before the option lapses. They declined to comment on the new rules when approached by BBC Sport on Thursday.

One thing that did seem weird was a limit on brake pads? Seems stupid to limit a 'safety' device?

So much change, only to realise that nothing has changed.

Absolutely ridiculous and I’m disappointed in Ross for not stamping out this Ferrari tantrum button that can be activated any time this sport considers improving itself.

It's not surprising that Brawn , the bloke sat next to him and Todt are all ex Ferrari is it .

They should be told to stick that veto , you can guess where .

Did I also see something about limiting development? So if you get a concept wrong you are screwed for the season. Oh do I remember this limited development on Power Units a number of years ago that stopped Renault, ferrari then Honda having any chance of catching Merc PU?
Haven't the top 3 teams got closer since the development tolkien's system was removed?
Oh I wonder when they day limited development they mean similar to 3 engines per year, like 3 front wing designs a year? That might be good for costs but any team who get things wrong has no chance.

I think it's a weekend limit thing, what you start fp1 with is what you run for the weekend. So no development front wings etc

So, one team will find an advantage and keep it for about 3 years before the others catch up.......

The cars do look cool but you know... the cars will not look like that as the teams find exploits

Also the cars are thought to be 2.5 seconds slower. Maybe that's what Williams have been perfecting this whole time
