Apparently Liverpool have a clash between the Carabao quarter final and the World Club Championship. The obvious solution is for the runners up to take their place in Qatar.
While other fans talk of a Big Six, in the eyes of Sky, BT and the BBC there's only ever a Big Four - and the Nomads were relegated from it the moment The Sheikh Mansour Team started buying titles
Im up for that, would give Spurs a chance to not end a decade trophyless for the first time since the 40s But if that big four is Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and City then it still doesn’t make sense
I'm not sure what this scheduling problem is. Just move a couple of games around a little and get on with it. If we can play really late Thursday/early Saturday, then I'm sure that Liverpool can, too.
Didn`t The Dippers field an ineligible player in the previous round of the League Cup, if they had been thrown out of the competition like they should have been, instead of being let off with a paltry fine, they wouldn`t be in this predicament they are now.
Those doing the draw were momentarily confused by Diego's appalling levels of overcompensating he's been doing on our board in recent weeks and mistook them for West Ham
Can we turn it around? As we won't be winning the PL or the CL this season, will Poch turn out a first team for the FA Cup games to try and win something. I doubt if we will get into the Europa League for our reserves for next season at this rate!
Just narrowly avoided a flying pig this afternoon. In other news, the Dippers have just had a goal incorrectly disallowed by VAR apparently. EDIT: Unstandable, the mousers are playing in Spurs Colours, easy mistake to make by Martin Atkinson please log in to view this image
Pool have now had a penalty turned down and Mane booked. Well done! Wonders will never cease. Unfortunately we will never hear the end of this. Which goes back to a point I've made before is that the officials are kind of educated to not be controversial re Pool because it's just too much stress for them. Much easier to give pens to Pool and not give them to other teams as it is quickly forgotten. This will be cited as a reason to prove that everyone is against them, when in fact it is a complete outlier. But if they are now going to treat Pool like everyone else I will be the first to praise them, but I'm not holding my breath.
There is no surprise that VAR has failed again, the system is flawed as we know all too well after Leicester. The only surprise here, is that this decision has gone against the Mousers, you wouldnt put even a bean on it, maybe the VAR is a United fan. I`m sure the officials will still find a way to help Pool out second half though.
The linesman flagged him offside, so he would have to be clearly and obviously on side, to over-turn it. Which is debatable, so it is not clear and obvious, therefore VAR got it right for the wrong reasons.
