    Hi mate.

Try and do things that make you happy - sounds obvious but if I'm a bit down I'll watch a comedy or listen to unplifting music.

Laughter just releasing endorphins and I find that boots your mind forward again if it stalls.

    Good company help too.

An absolute classic though is exercise. Again gets the body moving and mind thinking and you'll feel better for it.

    Avoid alcohol.

    Exercise!

Get yourself into the gym, go for a run, etc..

Get those endorphins flowing, that’ll lift your mood.

Since you've ignored my Weed advice, my only alternative suggestion is to pay for a hot Escort and get yourself a good shag

Then re evaluate things and you'll see that life ain't all too bad.

This song puts into words what I do to make myself feel happier when I feel blue.

    Yeh obviously the 2nd one.

The lad is unsalvagable as a person.

He is actually going to be a 40 year old virgin soon.

It's blatently ****ing obvious why he's depressed. But try tell him that he need to dip his stick or at the very least have some female company. Ya'know they good with that **** plus women love to think they can fix a man.

But no, say that to metth and he thinks it's a piss take.

Boy needs some pussy like comm, both wouldn't be so unhappy in life if they could just have some mooshoo.

Comms last shag was probably not in this decade but he's still doing better then meth.

It's just sad all round tbh

I don't really see marijuana as a genuine solution?

Not sure if you were serious of course but it can make a person paranoid & anxious, which wouldn't help.

It isn't. It's a depressant in a similar way that alcohol is.

It can do yeah mate but can also induce euphoria and a general feeling of well being, more relaxed about things.

It deffo depends on the person tbh.

There's not many things in life that won't cause anxiety tbh, if you're an naturally anxious person then weed could be a miracle cure for you, it could also worsen your anxiety.

Only one way to find out but they do prescribe weed for depression in many parts of the world.

Of course, any suggestion contrary to that is utter bollocks.

Both are drugs, both are depressants and both are perfectly ok if taken and managed in moderation.

Both will **** you up if you over do it.

There's a difference (with me anyway) when drinking, once drunk ill continue to drink. When I'm stoned (or just smoked a joint) I don't feel the need to smoke again until that's worn off kinda thing. I'm probably not the best example as I'll chuff most of the day but I think ya know what I mean.

I could smoke an ounce in a night and I may wake up a little dopey but that wares off in half an hour.

If I drink all night, I could be dying for days.

There is a difference there I suppose in that if you have a bifta and get stoned, you're there.

If you have a few drinks and end up pissed you can carry on and end up paralytic, then carry on and end up unconscious.

I agree the end can be a lot worse with booze. If it's just as a relaxant though, couple of glasses of wine, even three, can get you nicely relaxed.

It does create far more clear and obvious casualties than weed does.

Mental health casualties though? Who knows. I knew a good few caners who's heads were wrecked by long term and prolific bong use.

I've not smoked weed (habitually) for a couple of decades and don't miss it, so don't really know what it's like with regards to strength and quality now.
