Good opportunities to draw Oxford or Colchester but no doubt we’ll get Man City for the 3rd year in a row or Liverpool. Liverpool wouldn’t be the worst from the point of view they have a hectic schedule at that point and would likely play a weakened side. Otherwise, the fact there are two lower league sides left means they’ll fix those draws for Man City and Liverpool with Leicester/Everton and the winners of Chelsea/Man Utd and Wolves/Villa in the other two games
We're not the one getting #warmballs to the final Liverpool league cup draws for the last 3 seasons: Arsenal, MK Dons, Chelsea, Leicester
We'll see what sort of line up they put out. Our second string is actually really decent. Players like Holding, Bellerin, Tierney, Willock, Smith Rowe,Saka, Martinelli have been playing and look more cohesive than the first team.
They’ll play a similar side to last time out, when they were pretty unimpressive. I might even back you to win tonight, as I think you should be favourites.
I hope and expect us to play the kids. If they lose then fair enough, if they win then hope we persist with them again. No chance our first team would feature in a quarter final in our busy December schedule
Xhaka should be dropped for a few games. For his own good. IMO our best MF pairing is Guendouzi and Torreira. Xhaka shouldn’t be first choice anyway.
What do you think of the situation? He's been getting stick of the fans in the stadium for months now so when they cheered when he was getting subbed then started booing him he snapped and I can't say I blame him tbh.
Two fixtures on Sky tonight? Hopefully Frank and Ole will play the kids, not the likes of Jesse ****ing Lingard who has had his chance and blown it, now ****off to Arsenal.
