Very good result at a tough venue. Especially like how we keep attacking all game, and despite 2 late goals, our defence has improved out of sight. Thought Kovacic was terrific, Tammy looks a bit jaded, needs a rest, Mount improved and Pulisic found his feet and the net. Looks the player we hoped he'd be and surely more to come. No doubt Frank has worked wonders with our overall play and the development of his young stars. We are starting to look the real deal, but once the pitches get wet and heavy, and legs get tired, it won't get easier. Task ahead is to maintain the effort and be consistent. Still more troops to come back, so overall we are going just fine.

When the pitches get heavy and the going gets tough I'd have young legs every day. Play the oldies in the good times use your youth in the tough ones frank Lampard is a very clever cookie.

Great performance, soaked up their long ball game then hit them. Great inter play, Jorginho was instrumental pulling the strings, William tirelessly wonderful and Kovacic was a monster. Just took our finger of the pedal at the end but it didn’t matter. Many teams will come unstuck there but a great learning curve without the pain.

Where was this Kovacic last year!? Looking a real player now.

Really good win. Now lets get some revenge on United Wednesday.

Both Kovacic and Jorginho look ten times better under Lampard than they did under Sarri

Probably because they can play like footballers rather than robots now.
