Mercedes still have the fastest car in the races, Ferrari need to improve there race pace for next season.
It’s what Champions do. Another excellent drive under pressure from him and thats where he has stood out these last few years since joining the Mercedes team.
I don't think Ferrari were lacking race pace. Team organisation just wasn't there. You're running one-two with a car that's a rocket in a straight line. How do you not make Hamilton pass at least one of them on track? Vettel's strategy had to be keeping track position at all costs. Why was Leclerc covering Albon? Nice as he doesn't have race-winning pace yet. Then obviously the pitstop was the final nail in the coffin. He might have had a small chance at coming back before that. Just a mess from a very winnable race.
I thought he was maturing how wrong was I? He just can't contain his temper enough to see the bigger picture.
Verstappen and both Ferrari's blew it today. Damaged car and a slug in a straight line and they let Hamilton have track position. Max easily could have won today, hopefully that'll sink in to him.
Horner blames Ham for pushing himself and Verstappen wide after getting a tank slapper on the first lap, while neglecting to mention than he was pushed into it by contact from Max. I don’t expect team principals to throw their drivers under the bus when asked about these things, but most will dissemble a bit and say “well, I would need to look at a replay” or something but only Horner comes out swinging and laying the blame regardless. What a ****er.
I do like Lewis's interview. Do you treat max different, YES. Some drivers are silly...... Vettel says copy and paste
*cut back to the studio* "But it wasn't Max's fault (staying in favor with RBR to keep the in-race radio access to Horner) he's hard done by.. Do me a favor! Man... I miss Hobbs, Matchett and Will Buxton!
Hi guys, had a problem getting back into this site so that’s why I have been absent for so long. Was reading posts but just couldn’t get myself logged back in. Working on it this morning as I was free.
