I just can't believe it to be honest. If Lamela's injured fair enough, that can't be helped but the other three switches have just royally ****ed me off. I'll be genuinely amazed if we get anything out of this..
I was thinking the same! Totally overthinking this line-up because I find it so baffling. I'd rather that be the case than have to countenance the notion that Poch genuinely sees this as our strongest team. The Pool attackers must be pissing themselves with laughter.
Lamela has a 'small' injury Hope it's not as serious as his last 'slight knock' that kept him out for the best part of two seasons
Right. So what about NDombele, Jan and Davies then? Or are they needed to keep Erik company and nurse him back to health?
I think part of the rational might be to allow the CL final team, or as close as possible, to redeem themselves. I'm not confident, but I'd be happy to see some real intent here.
Lovely, lovely clip Spurf. I was 19 and in amongst that lot with my boyfriend & pals. It was like yesterday to me. Our first FA cup in my lifetime & first bus parade ever. The band from the Royal (dance hall) were out side playing 'Glory, Glory' in a jazzy version which all added to the fantastic atmosphere. So nice to see Danny Boy & Bobby Smith again, two of my favourites although I loved 'em all! Memories............
What incentive is there to redeem themselves when a chunk of them won't be here in 8 months? I really hope to be eating humble pie at full time, but for the first time this season i am questioning Poch's ability to turn this mess of a season around.
Your guess is as good as mine! I believe he is able. Whether or not he actually does it is another story. I live in hope.
