Well max's arrogance has given him 3 place grid penalty. Can't believe he only got 3 place penalty as he admitted not lifting under yellows!
That said yellow flag waving but yellow illuminated sign was not lit.
Not lifting when you see the crashed car, shocking.
Think he should be punished enough to deter drivers from not lifting.

And people complain about VAR.... We'd be on about 5 hours of stoppage time if this were a game of football. No idea why **** takes so long.

Well, glad they made the right decision in the end, but it's still shambolic that they initially weren't even going to investigate it. Seems Max would have got away with it had he shut up.

We are well set up for an interesting race now. Verstappen will have the better race pace, whilst Leclerc vs Vettel part 10 is certain to be mismanaged in some way. Should be entertaining.

I think it just goes to prove how favoured he is. They knew from the telemetry what he did, yet chose to ignore it until he grassed himself up. If he hadn't said anything they would have let him off, as they try to do everytime. He simply doesn't give 2 shoits about anyone at all other than Max Vertsappen, doesn;t give a **** about the drivers, the stewards or the safety of the marshalls. Last time I got penalised for ignoring yellows it was a 10lap deduction and cost a win (to be fair to me, it was torrential rain and I couldn't see more than 5 feet)

It is worrying that they were not even looking at it ( As far as we knew ) until he admitted it !

But then , my feelings on him as a person , Horner & the Senior ( Max ) clan , are well known .

He got the same penalty in Sochi last year, I feel for this sort of offence the penalty should get greater with each incident.

Anyone watching the youtube coverage? Some how the Stigs Mexican cousin is there <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Now dancing round pineapples makes a difference to handbags.

No idea the cultural significance of any of this but looks good.Pity they didn't do any voice overs explaining things.

The top 6 to wipe each other out, Sainz to win. Obligatory random Stroll podium.

Ham got a good start but then squeezed and tagged all over the shop.

I kind of feel like Max deserves a comedy tyre failure. He is in “old” Max mode this race and it won’t end well.

I think you will find Hamilton’s tyres are suffering more than Vettel’s because he is not in the lead in clear air Crofty you blinking nana.
