One for all you Corbyn haters. The cystic fibrosis drug Orkambi has finally been licensed to be prescribed on the NHS after years of campaigning. The BBC splashed this story all over the news on Thursday but never once mentioned one of the leading actors in the campaign. It took Richard and Judy to shed light:

Surely one of the main purposes of the Fixed-term Parliaments Act was to prevent the manipulation of parliament by an executive?

I see reports of a shortage of Christmas food products because of brexit related staffing problems. There is a greased piglet spit roast ready in Downing Street.

It really isn't a matter of hating him. It's just that he is going to lose the election.

I went to see Official Secrets last night, reminded me what an odious, lying war criminal your friend Bliar was/is.

Here's a hard one for you then: would you rather see Boris in charge with a stonking majority or Blair with a majority of 160? Because as things stand the former is what we are going to get.

Silly question, because Blair isn’t coming back. If your measure of success is winning elections by being more right wing than the Tories then we’re never likely to agree. He lied to the country, and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians died as a result. War criminal.

Corbyn confounded the polls in 2017, he can do it again.

A genuine question..........everyone seems to be worried by the wording of the workers rights in the Brexit bill.....is there no way way of putting the existing rights into law before Brexit? Also the same regarding the tax non payers bill?? I have been doing a bit of reading on these subjects and I can see why the remainers are worried........

Elect a Labour government, that’s the only way. The Tories have been taken over by the far right Beddy, they simply don’t care about workers’ rights.

If their leader was anyone other than Corbyn I might be tempted...........

Edit....However my question still applies can they not bring a bill to protect the workers rights etc??

They can amend the Withdrawal Agreement Bill, but Johnson isn’t allowing time to do that, unless an election is agreed. It’s a complete nightmare.

And there you have it in a nutshell. Millions of voters up and down the country have exactly that attitude. Labour now fronting Diane Abbott on Marr. Do they just not understand that such incompetent politicians just damage their cause?

Your telling me..........In truth I would have abstained from voting all those years ago (Which I was tempted to do at the time given my circumstances) I didn't have an inkling that it would lead to this kind of mess I really thought we wouldn't win anyway as the the media were suggesting at the time.
Ok so we have to have an Election but at least it would safeguard workers rights and money laundering perhaps.....would that not be worth it?

You may as well be quoting Daily Mail headlines. You know what you are saying isn’t true, why don’t you defend the party you worked for all your life?

Diane Abbott had the biggest majority of any MP in 2017, her constituents worship her. Try telling them she’s incompetent.

You know I wish Corbyn would get his act together on Brexit, but he’s the best Labour leader in my lifetime, John Smith apart.

But it's not constituencies like Hackney North that Labour have to win. They are stuffed dog constituencies where the red rosette guarantees your votes being weighed rather than counted. It's the marginals you need to win, Mondeo Man, Worcester Woman. Putting Diane up for Labour is like The Tories fronting Grayling.
