Cheltenham 3.10 Gino Trail Has good course form which counts a lot and can go well fresh. Richard Johnson rides. Enough positives for a confident choice.
yard form is not good , the last few runners have been well below par , good luck to you , but not for me atm
I do feel ever so slightly traitorous, if that is even a word. If I am up by then I reckon a saver is in order. The New One (h-b) did win three bumpers at the start of his career.

8:30 Chelmsford - Vakilita 20/1 ew. Really should be a better horse than has shown so far looking at its pedigree. Must be showing something at home or surely the yard wouldn't still be bothering. The price is a decent one to play each way and although it's a very speculative punt I'm willing to risk a few quid that the horse is not as bad as would appear and can come good.
I see Barbados Bucks runs in that bumper as well at cheltenham..related to the great horse.. views on that one? Pricey purchase..
Kelso 4.10 Chain of Beacons I think this one lurks on a dangerous mark. Has run well fresh in the past.
Soft ground indicated on the Cheltenham going map. Bollox, it will be like the Somme. I'm looking for horses that get about 5 miles.
Took a skim of the card looking for value for a tiny stakes e/w Lucky 15, ideally want those that have won plenty on heavy, preferably with Chelt course form and lots of stamina. Plenty of horses going today have run in the various Nationals. However pure greed took over and I sometimes sided with those who go on heavy ground with zero Chelt experience at bigger prices and will hope for the best, best prices currently on oddschecker: 2pm Crosspark 16/1 (has won on heavy and over 4m, however not run at Chelt before, Cogry at 7/1 prob makes the most sense there) 310pm Duke of Navan 11/1 (2nd at Chelt this time last year, won twice on heavy) 345pm Captain Tommy 12/1 (has won on heavy, hasn't run at Chelt, could improve) 4:55pm First Assignment 7/2 although Betfred still go 5/1 allegedly, and there has been a big drift on Betfair to 5.9 (Has won twice at Chelt and on soft, never run on heavy)
Just on way to Cheltenham now.. hasn't stopped raining all day and looks like raining all day.. So far have decided: Cogry/Captain Chaos Quel Destin Saint Calvados Will sit a couple of races out and probably do two more. Good luck all.
