So, we can't win on a Wednesday, can't win live on TV, can't win after an int'l break, can't win in the FA cup
So, lets hope every game from here on is played at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon.

This is the most important season of our recent history, if we fail to get promoted there is a danger we could become an established LG 1 team and the consequences of reduced income through the gate receipts could condemn us to a long run in the 3rd tier, this enthusiasm is a fragile thing and could evaporate so Evans must do everything possible to enable promotion this season, I'm not confident he will oblige.

I think the last 2 games has highlighted how well Lambert has done with what he's had available. Remember at the start of the season we were all concerned? Well the start we made has hidden those concerns and made alot of us believe we have by far the best squad in the division.

In terms of talent that may be the case but we've got a load of inexperienced players plus a load of players who've spent the majority of the last couple of seasons in the treatment room.

Our start given our circumstances was quite remarkable. I'm not a fan of rotation but given the fitness of some of our players I don't think he's had a lot of choice. If fit on the whole, Holy, Chambers, Wilson, Vincent-young, Garbutt, Skuse, Downes, Norwood and Jackson have started. That's 9 out of 11.

We've been a club on the decline for a while, used to losing and actually have a pretty inexperienced squad, so think we need to be a bit more realistic about where we are. It highlights to me we certainly need at least 1 CB and Striker in the January transfer window.

Spot on, FM! The whole Club, Town, Suffolk county, regional & international fan base, built up over some 50 years, wait with bated breath as to what Evans intentions really are. A defining 2 months.

Spend proper funds in January, support Lambert who in fairness has done well with such meagre resources, continue and embrace the astonishing feel good high morale at club, and push on, promote and thrive in the Championship for years ahead..

....or languish in L1 and suffer iredeemable decline.

I wouldn't hold your breaths on getting any new signings in January. Once all fit, we still have a very strong squad, and enough back up for decent cover.
We have Sears and Lanky to come back in the next couple of months which will add to attacking options, we have Bishop also to come back, again hopefully in the new year, as well as Nydam.
The only two positions i think need better cover, is at full backs. Janoi and Kenlock are not good enough for a long run in the team (ok for the odd game).
I know these players will need time to get match fit, but hopefully they can can be chucked in for the odd game here and there to help out our promotion push.

Well if past experience is anything to go by then regardless of our league position in January Evans will do nothing, and if that happens and we miss promotion it tells us everything we already knew about Evans intentions towards the Club, its just a financial plaything to him and a toy which boasts Ed Sheeran as a supporter which gains him reflected glory. Hope to God that's not the case.

Evans let us slip into Division One without any semblance of a fight, what makes anyone think he’ll dip his hand in his pocket to get us out?

I’d love to be proved wrong, but I’ll not hold my breath!

I would like us to sign a left back so that if we want to change to a flat back 4, we can
