He says it was nice to score against the club who didn’t want him, (Sunderland)..also says, if something comes up in the future who knows. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...and-fan-and-speculation-over-move-club-819530
Absolutely baffling. I can only assume that he grafts really hard in his trial and says and does all the right things then puts his feet up after that. There's some legendary guy who made a full career out of being a professional footballer without ever playing a game, feigning injuries and bribing the right people, Rodwell's the English version. This guy https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Kaiser_(footballer)
Its a bugger, but I doubt we can afford him now, If we use the talent we have correctly as advocated by a number of posters we wont need him, certainly not at any cost. If it works out that we get away with an enormous recruitment faux pas and get him for what we would not pay for him last window fair enough, but we have missed our chance again I fear. We are still employing smooth talking yes men, while showing good proffesionals the door.
Mass murderers around the world are probably reading about that transfer in their prison cells thinking "if only I'd had HIM representing me in court". The man (or woman) is a miracle worker!
Roma only want Rodwell because they have an injury crisis and because of transfer windows around the world he's one of the few currently available player. @Nacho have you read the book about Kaiser?
No I read an article on him a while ago, I think he spent all his time (I would say off the pitch but he was never on it) pretending to be other famous footballers and living the high life because he was so convincing. I bet the book is interesting? Hell of a colourful life he's had.
Bankers who lose all the banks money. Oh, hang on, they don't get sacked. Just take the countr'ys public purse to pay their bonuses because they are they say the worlds best at what they do.
