We used to pay that kind of money for players like Karlsson to play in the reserves ffs.
Imagine how much he'd have strengthened us and weakened our Promotion rivals at the same time. The lad was desperate to come aswell.

Hopefully the chuckle brothers will be on tour by then. I cannot believe with their record on recruitment and development that Coton and Hill will be around for January’s transfer window. Note to Stewart Donald - We must Improve the scouting network, the Academy development, our player recruitment, and most importantly we must do it now ! We need to ensure that we get everything in place ready for a very important January transfer window. I am hopeful that Phil Parkinson is in to Stewart Donald’s face telling him what he needs - not going down the lists and having to take what the chuckle brothers produce for him. I am sure that he has as many if not more contacts than they have, but my fear is their interference.

We didnt have 1.8m to spend you need to understand that. Im the first one to say hes exactly what we need but we simply couldnt afford him.

January could be a different story on a cut price deal with some additional capital to spend.

His stats are impressive. If he keeps it up surely he’ll go to a higher league than ours.

I honestly don't think they'll let him go in January unless somebody comes up with the buy out clause. They won't let him go just to get some money in, they know if he goes they probably won't go up.

Would he fit into a fast paced attack and disciplined defence?

Genuine question as I haven't seen him play and personally think that is what we need

    The proper Roma?

They must have new medical facilities to test

I don't understand this. Why do we not have £1.8m to spend?

It’s unbelievable. I hope he is an abject failure. He couldn’t/ wouldn’t play for us because the fans didn’t rate him, God knows how he will cope over there.

How do you not understand this? There is a obvious reason to why we have been seeking investment for the last year.

the current owners for all their best intentions dont have that sort of money to hoy about especially after spending big on grigg.

    Yeah, sorry, I completely agree.

Again though, I can't help but think that we actually did have £1.8m to spend before SD used the club's money on his debt to Short. This is what boils my piss about them. If he can't afford to run us or even buy his own shares, how is he any different to any of us? :D

He saw his chance to own a massive asset by not spending a lot of his own money to do it. He took it with both hands if he gets it right he can ride of into the sunset a very wealthy man.

Do i agree with it? Not really. But from a man like myself in the game of taking chances in business, would i do it myself? Absolutely.

Someone should make a movie about your life as a 'chance taking' businessman.
That'll put bums on seats I'd wager

I’d be surprised if he gets to January without signing a contract... and if that did happen we’d be up against some desperate championship clubs
