Not too bad a team... Feel sorry for Denver Hume... Mcgeady is our best attacking/creative player but probably our worst defender and support/cover for Hume I suppose he could play right wing and give O9/ McLaughlin a tough time
Or he may let macnulty play the role grigg did against tranmere and grigg play a deeper more creative role
On Tuesday night, we attacked as a team and defended as a team. For that reason, providing Watmore is passed fit, I'd stick with the same team, with McNulty in behind Grigg and Maguire wide, in place of Gooch.
Yeah agree as McGeady covering needs to improve, I do think Phil will be highlighting this in training
I suspect every coach and manager has tried to improve Aiden's defensive liabilities, as he has himself...perhaps the reason he is in the turd division with us and does not have more caps is his defensive capabilities are the opposite to his undoubted attacking talents?
