I never asked for any ban, I leave that to you. Just read a post from Original koppite saying LL and Clive time are the same person, so you have your friend back. Lol
ROFL Just as well I wasn't drinking tea there. No, not a chance. As Forza has agreed with me, Clive made a lot of good points & would enter into a debate sensibly UNLESS it was about Graysin (sic). Captain Jackboot doesn't know how to divert form his agenda.
What kind of complaints, though? How many complaints did you have about Glory, for instance, over the years, but never acted. 12 days! 61 likes in 98 posts. That to me balances out a few snowflake complaints. Were people upset about his spelling, perhaps? Or that he disagreed with them? How many complaints does it take to have someone banned? We're back to this age-old conundrum - you don't like to ban anyone, but when you do, there's no consistent method to it, and it's a big secret as to the precise nature of the decision-making process. What can he possibly have done to earn a ban in 12 days? Again, I draw the comparison to LL, who clearly upsets innumerable people, abusing them on a regular basis. Clive never, ever insulted anyone, far less abused them. So what I'm getting from this is that some people are are allowed to post daily bilious spite, yet others are taken out if they cough at the wrong time. Please spell out the nature of whatever got Clive banned, & convince me that it was far, far worse than LLs daily billious ramblings. I doubt you'll be able to do this. Multiple complaints! Jesus wept!
You keep going on about 12 days, he was on the old bbc606 people had seen his stupid wuming for a long time, not 12 days.
People should be getting judged for what they do here, not anywhere else. And as I recall, he didn't WUM once in that 12 days. I just want to understand why he was banned, for I saw no reason. And Forza agrees with me. You're the only one who's disagreeing, so it seems reasonable to me to assume that you're one of the complainants against him. I know you said you didn't ask for a ban, but did you complain, either openly or by PM. You've every right to do that, of course, but I just want to understand the criteria for him getting banned. 'Being a WUM on another site in the past' doesn't cut it for me, and that's the only 'reason' I've heard so far from anyone. If it was that obvious, I'd have expected the mods to tell me straight by now why they made that decision. Again, all I've got is 'some people made complaints'. That means bugger all in itself. Were they complaining about the aftershave he was using? Is it a secret how many complaints were made, or the substance of the complaints? Seems to be a secret, which is a concern. So spill, mods. If you felt so justified, perhaps you could share your decision-making process, for on the face of it, it seems to be a bit 'pick & choosy'.
Glory has been mentioned a couple of times in this thread, what happened to him? He was here before I took a break but not now, hope it was nothing personal or illness.
Never made any complaint at all, but make no mistake I was over the moon when he got banned, bbc606 was what we followed on from, so it was like the same site.He was like TC obsessed with Leeds but tried to turn everyone against each other, hated us winning, that's not a Leeds fan IMO, even Glory liked us to win. His favourite bbc606 trick was slag our best players off, when you bit and started swearing he would report you (swearing wasn't allowed, but as no one else reported you, you could) , and you would get a warning leading up to a ban. Why do you think he gets banned from every site ? You obviously didn't know him from old.
He was very ill at one stage, after he got banned, but is much better now I think, but had a bust up with mods who had had enough of his bust ups.
There you go again. Other sites. I'm asking what happened on here in those 12 days, with 61 likes for 98 posts - not a history lesson on BBC606.
LL has nearly 2700 likes, yet you try to get him banned. The mods on every site who banned him don't have to justify to you why.
I wasn't happy with him getting banned, but TBF he did go too far with his attack on some of the mods.
I'm not trying to get LL banned. Do you only read what you want to read in my posts? I repeat, for the umpteenth time that I want to know exactly why Clive was banned, and I use Captain Jackboot as a comparison, as I cannot remember Clive doing anything worse than him. Simple enough for you this time?
You know we can't discuss who or how many complained about what! Why are you suddenly so interested in Clive?
I saw nothing in those 98 posts that could possibly justify a ban. Quite the opposite in fact. He put forward reasonable arguments on Leeds United footballing matters. I actually agreed with much of what he said. The ban imo was totally unjustified.
And for the umpteenth time, the mods knew him better than you, and knew his history, and believed he was using more than one account, that's a ban on it's own, ask Eric now it was a long time ago, maybe you should have asked at the time instead of leaving it years later. PS now remembering Glory and the trouble over that ban, well no one protested over Clive, what does that tell you ?
