Mildly warm 1 every 1.5. Aye that would do it.

A result like that could be a massive jet pack up our arses, the leagues ****, we need 3-4 on the bounce get right back amongst it.

Crowd was ****ing impressive I thought for a ****ing freezing Tuesday night with little optimism. People were enjoying themselves under the layers. Seen a couple mad bastards in shorts. Never been so happy to have left my heating on all day must have been subconscious <laugh>

And I am warming to him, but have always held Duncan Watmore in the highest esteem, when Grigg plays to the level of Watmore nobody will be more pleased than me but he has a bit to do before that day, but he is starting to look interested and Parkinson has to be given credit here.

Great performance tonight, the players that didn't start (Mcgeady, Jon and Connor McLaughlin, Leadbitter, Mcgeoch) now know what they need to do to get back in the team and shouldnt just walk straight back in. Centre half's were excellent, Lynch doing 360s ffs . Grigg looked a different player and I'm delighted he got his goal Watmore was great, Maguire was as well. Dobson stuck to his task despite the early yellow card. Happy days.

Biggest home win in 22 years!

as usual, i had the commentary to keep me informed so can i ask any of the lads who were there a couple of questions...sounded very much like we controlled the game at least once we went 2-0 up, invited them to pass the ball about while we waited for the chance to take it off them and break and apart from one hitting the post i cant remember burge having to stop many (any?)...also sounded like there were good partnerships aross the park, anyone confirm or am i wrong?

still very early days of course and only having 'wallace and gromit' to listen to there did seem to be improvement in there.

Superb win could have been 7 or 8 mind, the disallowed goal ? looked ok to me, grigg and Watmore exellent, Phil should have brought Kimp on much earlier, the game was won at half time, the lad did not get enough time, but all in all back up there 7th due to Doncaster's amazing win at Southend who come here in about 11 days.

They has a couple of 3-4 min spells when they tried to pressure us, we let them have the ball and the shape at the back was spot on, never looked panicked for once.

I have to say, Budge is clean as **** collecting the ball. He looks way taller than JM, might just be that he’s ‘leaner’

So has Kimpi signed a new deal or has Donald changed his stance on freezing out contract rebels? Or did Parkinson tell Donald he wasn't going to let him pick the team for him? Or am I thinking about a different player? Who knows.

He would have been on earlier if he hadn't turned up in drag.

Bench for me.. Hes brought absolutely bugger all to the team lately. He's a fantastic option to bring on though. But after that performance, the starting 11 deserve to remain.

We just didn't sit back apart from a 10 min spell early in the 2nd half when Tranmere had a spell of possession.

The biggest difference was we had plenty players in the box and it showed in the scoreline.

We were solid enough at the back and the midfield were more mobile. In the first half Watmore was excellent and they couldn't handle him, he tired early in the 2nd half but it's a good sign that he looked like he was getting back to the player we all hope he is. Gooch played well and didn't try and cut in too many times and for once he didn't try to beat his man 2 or 3 times before losing the ball.

Burge made one notable save and other than a few misplaced passes he did ok.

All the players played well against a poor Tranmere side. You can only beat what's in front of you and quite a few times since the turn of the year we haven't done this.

    It's Kimpi.

If we don't play him, we'll lose him for nothing anyway. So might as well play him and see what happens.

The centre halves look like a great partnership, Willis has pace and Lynch is a mean motherfucker. Just what we need in this division. I went to watch the u23 game when him and DeBock played and a kid from Boro tried to take the Mick out of him. Lynch cleaned him out and took the yellow card, the lad never tried a step over for the rest of the match!

Hume and Gooch looked decent as gooch will graft back and cover when Hume attacks as he can leave a big hole at left back (he found himself in centre midfield after a couple of runs tonight).

Grigg and Maguire looked good as well
