They don’t drink, smoke or go out socialising, they said that literally every penny they earn goes on feeding and looking after their tribe. It’s more than a bit weird but each to their own, they came across as a very happy bunch tbf.
Fair enough, still not buying that they have the time for each of their kids though, to support them growing up.
It's close to child abuse imo. There's no way you can give a child what they need if you have 22 others and are pregnant the whole time. Selfish as ****.
They are on Child benefit, but every parent is entitled to that provided they earn less than £50k a year I believe. But at least the dad goes out to work and doesn't expect the taxpayer to fund his kid factory. But I agree that you cannot effectively parent 22 children, thats stretching yourself far too thin to be even remotely effective as a parent, it's stupid. And yes, the mothers va jay jay must look like a badly cooked yorkshire pudding!
Not to split hairs, but technically it's only 16 "children". 6 of them are adults according to the law. I doubt the 30 y/o is still at home taking turns on the kiddie-slide in the back garden.
people often say that when what they actually mean is they are not receiving out of work benefits . His business must be paying him **** loads if he doesn't qualify for working families tax credit .
this the thing if you remove pensioners from the equation far more people in work receive benefits than those out of work it is just so many don't think of them as benefits . Mind you the Govt helped with that by referring to some as tax credits when the only connection to tax was that they gave it to HMRC to administer which turned into a bit of a fiasco .
there is the weird thing that someone working full time but on minimum wage could actually be by some way a debit on Govt coffers due to £11K tax allowance meaning not much income tax raised which is more than offset by housing benefit & Tax credits .
They get around £170 a week in benefits, I read. The two child cap in child benefits must have been a ****ing blow for them. They better vote Labour at the next GE, they'd be overnight millionaires
