They’d already dropped off a long time before 80 mins! But I make you right that whenever it was, it was a mistake.....they had us under control until that point.
Worse game we’ve played in god knows how long. Shows how bad this united team are that they got a 1-1 draw and only managed 2 shots on target, one of which was a pea roller from outside the box. Var is a nightmare. Got to agree with klopp in general that the problem is, the referees aren’t blowing for some stuff on the assumption that var will sort it out (our goal today, the pen that should have been for Watford yesterday) but then the var ref is looking and going well the ref didn’t give it so I can’t overturn it. It’s like the on field ref isn’t actually referring the game leaving it to the off field one who won’t overturn it because they set the thread hold so high. anyway, having played arsenal, chelsea, United already, were 6 points ahead of city and I’m beaten. Let’s not worry too much plus we’re always **** after international break so a point is a bonus
We were **** and were lucky to get a point, but we were dodgy against Sheff U and Napoli away from home too this season, and I'm not looking forward to Genk. That said, Roy Kean: 'It's a foul, but the ref doesn't see it because he's unsighted, so you can't give a foul there'. Eh? What the fook is VAR for then? No arguments with the Mane decision. Thought Trent, Bobby, Hendo and Windy (2nd half) were bollox today. Let's see if this is a bubble bursting.
Let's hope it doesn't happen. There is usually a blip after teams go on some record run. Example: Arsenal after their invincible run was ended at OT.
Our players had to suffer two weeks of dinosaur coaching throwing them out of their form Man Utd's players got to have some actual coaching for two weeks
Especially when they use so many young players desperate to get themselves in the shop window Could have done with a few more Pogbas starting
Been saying this since forever. The guy is great, Liverpool legend and will always be remembered for key goals, but fundamentally, he's a bang average player with a knack for getting a goal once in a while - an impact option, no more. Repeating myself from the summer, but it was a huge mistake coming in to this season with only Origi (well, and Brewster but he's a kid) as our backup forward. The team doesn't play as well, there's no rhythm, flow, fluidity, whatever you want to call it. We just pass a bit and lump it long. I pray to God we buy a wide forward option in the January or that we have no more injuries to the front three. Thought we were pretty dire today. Even factoring James' time wasting and referring nonsense, we had enough to win but didn't have our heads today, the game to to them.
True. Celebrating the ending of our winning run and the narrowing of our lead But you are 100% right. This was much more than a victory for them in terms of their morale.
Who have city played out of so called super six so far btw We can prob throw Leicester in there too next up spurs and city not far away.
Not on the wum I knew you guys would turn up today Not bothered about any of the decisions Does it not bother you genuinely that they can pull out that kind of result The ability is clearly there which means it must be attitude It drives me mad that they turn up against us and my city but would drive me crazy if they didn’t turn up next week
Maybe they'll now "build" on this draw by scraping a win in the EL against Belgrade, then settle down again with a point against Norwich, out of the League Cup to Chelsea, and a loss to Bournemouth Then they'll act all surprised like "but Ole got a draw against Liverpool, and Liverpool's goal came late so that basically doesn't really count somehow"
