Shame about Salah but we should still have enough quality to beat them

Manchester United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Tuanzebe, Young, McTominay, Fred, Pereira, James, Rashford.

Subs: Romero, Mata, Martial, Rojo, Greenwood, Garner, Williams.

So Young & Tuanzebe as WB's in a back 5. Obviously hoping to catch us on the break .

PS we moan about a lack of creativity in our CM but it seems it could be worse <whistle>

Our right flank worries me a little. Trent to Salah was one of the best combinations last season but since Hendo moved there, Trents involvement has been reduced. And with Salah out, we will be reliant on Hendo making an impact in the advanced role. He’s due a good game. Been poor this season

I'm assuming mane will swap flank and play in front of trent, hendon is out there to help trent defensively being as salah isnt the greatest at tracking back.

They keep flogging this winning streak record. If we get it great but I couldn't give a **** about it really, I just want to win this match.

Hendo just needs to keep out of Trent's way; he often prevents TAA overlapping.

I do wonder if ****e like this actually bothers the players to much. I've got a feeling it's more something the press hacks can bleat about being as they dont do any actual reporting nowerdays

Also, does it really count when we have done it over 2 seasons. Didnt city do it in one season, which is more impressive imo

Youd think if trent went forward Henderson would drop in, but your right he does love to stand on the line asking for the ball rather than moving and leaving the space for trent to move into

yep, that’s my concern. He gets too high up, occupies the space that Trent would but doesn’t have the same impact. As a result, it leaves a big space behind him and Trent is exposed. I rather Hendo play similar to gini - stay disciplined, hold the position and let the front 3 and full backs create.

nope but yes to he has been poor the last couple of games . Presumably Mane will be on that side so there will be increased protectio for TAA when he does go forward as that seems an obvious avenue of attack for them with James & Rashford .

I don’t understand why klopp doesn’t let Hendo play the same way Gini does on the left hand side. It will get the best out of Hendo and Trent.

It's the fixture I always look for at the start of the season, but I dont know why, I dont enjoy it. The nerves regardless of the state of the two teams always get to me.

Injury for Tuanzebe in the warm-up. Rojo replaces him in the #MUFC team.

I think it's more to do with Henderson than klopp, he wants to be seen as demanding the ball and making things happen, but he does get in the way alot.

Funny thing about Gini, it looks like he goes missing but hes not the sort to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drive on, but hes always there or there about when needed. Much happier to be part of the game without trying to take over.
