Great news the Letwin Deal was agreed. The MPs could hear us cheering inside parliament. Anyone else go on the march?
That ugly face of hers scares me a bit i'll give you that, its you who doesn't understand though you silly old ****
So 3 points, went to the match and Letwin amendment passed - all in all a good day - time for a couple of beers.
So Boris has sent the letter that he was compelled to do by the Surrender Act requesting an extension, but hasn't signed it He also sent a second letter saying he doesn't want or need an extension, which he has signed Good man
I stand corrected. The first 'letter' he sent was an unsigned photocopy of the Surrender Act even better and complies with the law
We're getting mixed reports over here. BBC says one thing, our ABC says another. Did Boris ask for an extension or not? Is what Forza said true? At the moment , to us, it's all pure conjecture and somewhat confusing.
Just been reading the latest from the BBC. Yes, Forza, you were right, two letters were sent. But from what I've read it appears that the UK is now begging the EU to accept the deal. Oh, wonderful! I think dying in a ditch is a much more adult way to end your political career than toadying up to the EU. As I said earlier, you poor sods.
He actually sent 3, and he's not begging the EU to accept the deal. First letter was not signed by the Government or Boris, and it was a photocopy of the Benn Act amendment in quote marks. Even though Parliament has amended Article 50 in UK, it's not amended in the EU article 50 that I know of, and the EU override Parliament.
I think he only sent one, some geezer sent a letter about a cut and paste and somebody forgot to sign the cut and paste.
