Should we return the Brighton two in January. Simple question, they are obviously not costing us much but whatever they are costing us is money wasted as they are never available. My view... get rid and bring in one replacement attacker … and if that attacker can be Brewster from Liverpool, all the better, AllHell
Wasn't one of them signed on a permanent one-year deal? I think the striker. And we'll need the midfielder after Spam take Cullen out of the shop window and sell him in January.
I'll grant you that, but hope springs eternal, and I don't want to give up on them just yet, in view of the looming January window, which usually sees us lose our best player, in this case two of our best players.
The latest talk with Cullen is that Wets will give him a new contract due to his form for us and his International caps. In this case and because he will not get into the Wets match day squad, there would not be any reason to recall him in January.
One of them - I think Kayal - was signed on a permanent deal. They both have good pedigrees, but need to start delivering on the pitch in November.
Kayal was a loan. Hemed was a permanent, one year contract. Johnny Jackson and Andy Marshall said last night that the squad would be shaken up in January. I reckon Page will have his contract paid up and a new left back will be brought in. Kayal will return to Brighton. I hope Cullen and Gallagher stay till the end of the season.
We are not in a position to be choosy in January, particularly under this owner and if Lyle Taylor leaves.
Due to his injury I doubt he will get his transfer. If this is the case then I'll feel sorry for him on missing out on his life changing move.
