Wolves have started pretty badly because of their Europa League commitments I think. Typically we play them when they haven't had a Europa League game on the Thursday so I'd expect them to be similar to the side they were last year, which was a good one. Can't see past a home win on that basis
“Humility may lead to meanness, But vanity may lead to violence. Therefore it is better to be humble.”
Yep, agreed. But also to add, we don't deserve to meet them at the right time, because we have actually had a fair bit of luck with that already, and blown it. L'pool & Chelsea had midweek games, Spurs had CL four days later and were there for the taking. Its time we did things the hard way, and saw some different results.
One little bright silver shining hope for me is Redders. He did well against them last time, and his zulu celebration suggests he remembers and cares about them as a derby. Go on lad, go get 'em. (but perhaps don't incite the crowd with that one again)
Nah, can't happen again. 11 days ago. My Wolverhampton mate smiling as Wolves beat Man City away and we lose at home. pffff
I have a horrible feeling about this game and the rest of the season but I always overreact early in the season so ignore everything I post until February.
I might become interested in football again after tomorrow, or I might remain indifferent because it’s only a game, doesn’t really change my life etc. Bought a ticket for The Emirates yesterday though. God knows why I did that.
I understand that Johnson is a descendent of William the Conqueror. I am quite pleased about that as I recall that our one act of regicide led to a period when we truly were a republic. We always celebrate April 29, 1918 in our house as the anniversary of an act all true republicans and socialists can understand. When we have the free state of Wessex we will truly be a republic. No monarch, no hangers on or public schools for the privileged just true democracy. Call for independence for Wessex now.
I'd agree with that, Angus has big potential but as a young Keeper he will make mistakes and lose confidence from time to time and Alex never lets us down when he plays.
Hopefully the two week break has come at a good time and Ralph has used the time well with his squad. I'd expect to see us have a better first half this time and not to be chasing the game too early. I'll go for 1-1 with Danny getting our goal.
dunno bout tomorrow they beat city but then we beat pompey so thats the same we lost previous 3 league games but so what?
