    Saturday 3pm kick off.

Bad news: Ritchie still out, Lejeune training but won't play.
Good news: Hayden still banned, hopefully the Longstaffs will be bossing the midfield again.

Don't know or care about Chelsea's team news.

Andre Marriner the ref, Mike Dean on VAR, what a team.

Sorry this match thread isn't as enthusiastic as the Man Utd one, I really can't be arsed. The international break has sucked the life out of me!

We'll **** em...2-1 to the Toon. Matty with a 30 yard raker and Miggy will bag his first for us.

    Excellent thread. <cheers>

No pictures and too long for Chippy to read so he won't be posting his inane drivel. Not enough detail so Pouchy will think it below him to comment. Crone didn't do it and therefore we aren't worrying about whether he's gone off to the Pub or not.

And we''l win with a hat trick from each of the Longstaffs from 45 yards minimum.

Christensen, Rudiger and Kante out for Chelski, Kovacic is a 50-50 to start as well so some big defensive misses for them! Leaves them Zouma and Tomouri at CB then Jorginho, Mount and Barkley in the central midfield if Kovacic isn't risked.

Good chance for Joelinton or Carrol to put themselves about a bit tomorrow against some inexperienced CB's. I'd be tempted to start Carrol and let him batter the 2 CB's for an hour or so and then throw on Joel for the last half hour to add a bit of movement up there.

Wouldn't change the defence from the Manure game and the Longstaffs have to start again. My only question would be whether to start ASM tomorrow and see how he get's on against an aging Azpilicueta or stick with Miggy and Atsu on the wings?

or stick with Miggy and Atsu on the wings?

Surely you meant 'anyone but Atsu' ?

Atsu has already has his annual assist, but I see the point. The law of averages says one of those two must be due something right?

Haha! agreed usually I'd be anyone but Atsu but Bruce seems to rate him and I'd be unsure which of them to drop between him and Miggy although I'm a firm believer once Miguel gets going he will be flying. ASM and/or Gayle off the bench as inside forwards behind the big boys up top would be interesting. Gayle is undoubtedly the best finisher of the players who can play out wide for us and 99% certain to have taken a couple of chances afforded to Almiron recently.

    Against who?

Are they still in one of the recognised leagues? That’s nice for them.

Yedlin needs crossing practice. How is it possible for a right wing back in the prem to be so piss poor at crossing?
