Pulisic and Batshuayi have had bugger all playing time yet Pulisic is getting all the press coverage. Batman just scores when he plays, then disappears again.
I think it's time he started a game with the best available team behind him, not just come on for 10 mins with 2 other subs. No put down for Tammy, he has locked up the starting position, but in my book, Batman deserves a better shot at the job than Frank has given him so far.
Actually, I have been musing on how we'd go with both on the pitch a la Jimmy Floyd and Gudjohnson.
I am sure Frank is aware of Michys' situation, and will give him his chance, but I hope he does it sooner rather than later. Preferably without Barkley in midfield !!!!

It’s a long old season and Michy will get his fair share of chances. However, you can’t justify starting Michy when Tammy is not only staking his claim but seriously owning the spot.
A good problem to have and it simply means Michy will have to step up when he gets his chances.

Of the 2, only Tammy has the potential to be top class so I guess we have to do what's best for him at the moment.

That being said, Bats will get plenty of game time as the fixtures pile up and he even seems to be ahead of Giroud.

You can't really justify dropping Tammy when he is banging them in to be honest.
As has been mentioned, as the season goes on and the fixtures pile up, Batshit will get his chances.
I always thought he was potentially better than the minutes he had been getting at Chelsea had shown him to be. And when he comes on he does normally grab a goal or an assist.
Maybe Frank can work him in to the formation somehow. Its a shame hardly anyone plays with two strikers any more

Stick with Tammy and possibly buy another striker in January if tammy is getting tired and offload Giroud.

    Batman is a super sub

Think Giroud will go in January if we get the ban dropped. Batman is banging them in for Belgium though, and did the same during his German loan. Hopefully will for us when his chance comes and with our new team around him .

I think (hope) that lessons have been learned from the past in regards to giving players game time. Michy has proven he has the ability for both club and country and deserves his chance.
I was astounded when we sold Schurrle. It was literally only a few months after giving the assist to win the World Cup! We simply cannot afford to be that stupid again with our transfer dealings.

I was absolutely baffled when that happened! I really rated him as a player. Was a daft move imo.

Talking about careers going downhill, Pulisic seems to have hit rock bottom. He needs to take note that some of the PLs best ever foreign players had a stinker 1st season. With work and encouragement, and I'm sure he'll get both from his teammates and Manager at Chelsea, he looks to have everything needed to succeed. I don't buy this "Morata " attitude stuff, he just looks very young, alone and frustrated to me. Hope the fans get behind him and don't get on his back.

Not too shabby at all, looks like a great year for him.

Nice to see Pulisic play bit and do well, and Zouma was again excellent. There is plenty of talent in these young players, all they need is time and encouragement.

Looks like Michy is stepping up and staking his claim. Great for the team and both Tammy and Michy. It’ll keep Tammy on his toes and Michy fighting for his spot.
