There is really only Pouchy saying that and you surely don’t believe a word he posts on here. My real problem with Ashley is a lack of ambition when it comes to the club. I reckon if I am lucky I have another 30years left on this planet and I don't really want to spend them all watching us battle against relegation, where a good season means we are challenging for 13th place.
I want the new owners personally, they have more money than Ashley and they have a direct link with football. They will have a comprehension and a focus on the game that is sorely lacking with Ashley. The biggest problem with Mike is he see's us as purely a side project, these guys will see us as a major investment and their future. They will have far greater commitment.
Will they? How do you know all this? Is this on top of all the transfer funds or part of the transfer funds? Our staff needs to at least double in size. The facilities needs millions spending on it. Yet this group want to pay in installments? Lol
And? Just means they don't have the money. I don't like the fat man but he has the money if the worst came to the worse
well degrosa has said himself coaching and youth is the way he will do things, so I'm assuming they will improve the facilities..
So this will come out of the £70M January transfer funds and the £40M a window funds? Or is this extra? If extra then great, if not, relegation will still beckon
If you haven't realised that Mike Ashley is not going to sell his 'cash cow', by now, I don't suppose you ever will.
I find it astonishing with the insane amount of freely available, and easily found, information that anyone would ever use the words "cash cow". It's not the right assessment of the club or Ashley at all; he's a leech, using the club for free advertising, but it's his ignorance, stupidity and flagrant disregard for the norm that has knackered this club. He's made nowt from it, aside from some un-quantifiable amount due to advertising and merch deals.
