Well Im not offended by your piss take if only for the entertainment it caused, especially over the road, by people getting totally wound up about it. Just shows people should err on the side of caution when reading stuff on message boards and wait for official information.

I'll admit Ive been caught out in the past, but was not animated by the news you posted, partly because Im not that bothered whether it was Parkinson or not.

No harm done in my view mate.

    Others may disagree

I'd have been calling him a lot worse than pillock if I had marra. Spent some time working for a bookie and learned never to bet more than you wouldn't mind losing!

I’m hoping this means Stendel or Pearson are the two front runners.

Well, I'm more relieved that PP hasn't been 'appointed' yet than angry at the OP's juvenile approach.

Given that hill and coton are allegedly heavily involved in this process I believe your hopes will be dashed.
H & C are old school hoofball and that is the type of player they go for and the philosophy they espouse. On that basis I dont believe stendel has a cat in hells chance. We have no pace in the team and midgets in the midfield to add to the woes. He'd be pushing 5hite uphill to get our team to play how he wants. I dont think he would see eye to eye with our recruitment dinosaurs.
As for Pearson, I doubt he'd last 5 minutes with those 2 having a say..and he would be right. Apparently hill and donald are thick as thieves and have been for some time.
Parkinson and ainsworth are el cheapo yes men. Donald will get a chubby on for that reason alone

Cheers mate you’ve made my day. :emoticon-0107-sweat
Surely they can’t seriously take someone like Parkinson when those two are on offer. It’s imperative we get promoted this season and I wouldn’t be confident with PP in charge.

As I’ve said in a later post, up until the Coventry game we were well on course to go up. Even after this game I don’t remember a clamour to sack Jack Ross. In fact, had he been sacked, a lot of people would have been seriously questioning the decision. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Not sacking him in the summer is another debate, but again I’d say there was not a majority calling for his head. Yes, there are things to call Donald out on, as I’ve said he has made mistakes, what I won’t do is blame him for not sacking Ross last season and for rumours on a message board, the media and social media when quite obviously nobody knows what’s happening. I’ll assess his performance on facts and logic.

FFS, just had another message, from someone well known as a poster I'd usually trust, that Parkinson was at the AOL with Donald yesterday ...

... whether he gets the job or not this looks bad on Donald if any of it's true.

I don't even understand why the candidates were interviewed at the SOL tbh.

No one needs to be shown the AOL either, we're not appointing Mourinho ffs.

I genuinely hope your source has got his information from yesterday’s rumour from here. Because that looks to be wrong now, I don’t want Parkinson in.

Lots of posters appear to have a false persona but this one has been on RTG for years and always seemed canny.

If it turns out he's lying, and feeding me duff info, I'll just name him and deal with the fallout.

These boards are an absolute cesspit when you lift the lid tbh.

I'll stick with people I actually know, or can definitely trust, in future ...

... lesson well and truly learned.

I know it wasn't a dig mate, no problem.

It was just a post to anyone interested, especially the lad sending the pm's.

none of this is your fault, but your word carries a lot of weight right now. If people see you criticising SD, they are going to run with it and use it to fuel their conspiracy theories. Sad but true.

Communication was handled badly at the beginning, no arguments from me about that. However, I have seen no reasons why Donald would be the sticking point in this. Especially with a big question mark over satori and his role on negotiations. Repeating myself, but are Dell boys going to invest when 20% of the club is owned by an unknown factor? Hell, I'm curious and it's not my money. Buys 20% for 4 million, a lot of talk about future investment then runs off to play politics with no statement before or since on what his intentions are. I wouldn't invest in a company unless all major stakeholders are accounted for and intentions made transparent. Or maybe its something completely else entirely. Who knows. But I am worried about us hounding out a man who has done good by the club so far, and, if this investment does fall through for whatever reason , will just sell to the biggest bidder with no care their intentions just to get out of this toxic environment and away from fans who have turned against him based on baseless and unfounded media speculation.

I wonder how the squad are dealing with all of this turmoil ?

It can't be helpful, and at worst it's damaging the moral, no manager with a tough away game in 3 days..

This has all been handled very amateurish, and God knows when it will all be settled, we cant afford to drop another 3 points at the weekend ...

Come on Donald, get it sorted !!!
