Funnily enough, I think that would be a great move for Millwall, and for Ainsworth.

He’s not a fit for us.

Surely it has to be Stendel. He's the only one mentioned who hasn't been salami sliced or shredded.

Stendel is the sensible long term choice to build an identity and a clear direction. Most of other names linked you're relying on new manager bounce and a good January window to get us promoted but after that we're back in the same boat. If it is Pearson, you'd have to hope that he brings Steve Walsh with him otherwise he's just one of the short term options.

If it's Stendel or Pearson I'd be happy.

If it's Parkinson or Ainsworth I'd be gutted.

I read with dread in the chronic that donald is being heavily reliant on hill and coton in the manager selection process. They are supplying the metrics and using their contacts to do background checks.
We may as well give up now.
The same people who brought you wyke, griigg, de bock, lynch, flanagan, baldwin etc etc.
    What a shambles if true

I won’t be happy if it’s Pearson, but I’ll get behind it.

Lad on RTG claiming Pearson will take the job if he can secure backroom staff.

I’ll be honest I would be over the moon with Pearson, exactly what we need about time we had a manager who has a bit of arrogance. Parkinson is like for like with Ross in my eyes.

He's got drawbacks for sure but I think we need a big personality. Someone who is an arrogant ****er to pick the club up and run with it. I think he could do that.

He did some great stuff with Leicester and some of the title winning season was attributed to the work he did beforehand.

He's big into his Sport Science & Psychology (IIRC) which will get the lads fitter which we desperately need.

Long term Stendel would be preferable, but we need a kick up the arse. We've stagnated in 2019 and we need to get out of this division and I think Pearson can get us that bounce.

Ties in with what I've been told tbh.

Waiting for response was the last I heard.

I'd give a deadline of lunchtime then go to option 2.

We can't afford to be held to ransom while Fowler is in charge of the 1st team squad.

Maybe we could give Ainsworth a 2 week probationary contract. He'll be able to give us the antidote for all the '********ery' he's instilled in WW, then just bin him off and get Stendel for the Tranmere match. Sorry - I'll get my coat.

I've put £30 on Pearson - don't mind losing it if we get the German or someone good who hasn't been on the betting favourites radar.

He's the one who stated we'd definitely signed Ayew and he was on his way to the press conference.

Not saying he's wrong but I've heard different.
