It's moved from impossible to unlikely. It's odds against a deal being reached next week. If deal isn't reached next week, it is no better than 50/50 that Brexit will happen at all.

    One man's uninformed opinion.

Brexit is dead in the water...Why anyone would consent to giving these guys the right to tax dodge and let themselves pay the price is beyond comprehension. Leaving the EU is a disaster if you dont have a million quid in the bank.....It dont make any sense to the rest of us.

I voted remain, but I'm now of the opinion that the sooner we're out the better.

I think it will happen, the Conservatives need it for an election win. I think despite the bluster of the "poll of polls" results they are hedging their bets that when it comes down to meaningful votes the leavers out number to remains. I think they're correct in their presumption.

I voted leave, but I said in your first thread that I believe in democracy and do think if genuinely the majority of the voting public do not want this to happen, then they should have a second referendum. However, for me, a referendum should never take place in the UK again, or atleast for a very long time.

So far, every single one that has taken place has been rubbished and torn apart by the losers. It was barely months after the Scottish referendum that the SNP were calling for a second, and now we are having contemplation about a second EU referendum. They're a waste of public resources, the parliament doesn't like them, we have an antiquated old fashioned political system that barely works. I don't think throwing in direct democracy works at all in Britain.

For me the Liberal Democrats telling people what they were or weren't thinking when they voted has been the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced as a voter. As a former member of that party, I do recall that before the referendum they were barely scraping 5% of the national vote, so out of touch with the thoughts of the general public they could barely put together a parliamentary team. Now, with a leader who barely hung onto her seat, we are hearing that they know exactly how people think, they're so in touch with the general public, one with the people. Are they ****e.

Honestly, I've lost faith in democracy, our country, our populace, our future. We are ****.

Yeah but how much of your anger is because they are positioning themselves as the Anti-Brexit party which is in direct contradiction of your view?

Like it or not the remainers form more than 5% of the electorate, so their actions have actually made them a real candidate...

So it's a shame they shafted students and there is a generation who will never forgive them <laugh>

I respect the SNP who are a remain party, they represent remain voters in Scotland. The SNP don't stand in every single imaginable forum and say openly "people didn't even vote for that anyway" and when given the response "yes we did" just respond "Nah, you didn't though." That is infuriating.

They are unbearably arrogant pricks, they don't give a **** about the referendum, they just want to get back seats. If the Lib Dems say otherwise, they're wrong.
