You’re right but mostly it’s support based on hearsay rather than first hand, at least that’s how it is with me

 

Not sure exactly what it is you are differentiating.

 

Just saying that at least some of the support is on the basis of what other people are saying rather than experience of Stendel and his teams style. Hence not very solid and liable to evaporate at the first sign of trouble but nonetheless likely to complain if Stendel doesn’t get the gig.

 

Again I dont see that, but each to their own.
What I seem to be encountering is that stendel ie perceived as playing football that is nice on the eye and knows how to organise a team . Everything that ross isnt.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong. It wouldnt be the first time

I’m sure you’re right about him. Just pointing out that the flock mentality often kicks in like me wanting him here but only from what others are saying.

Just wish he was called Stengel because that’s what my iPad autocorrects to all the time (an ancient baseball player as it happens)

 

There is no point fretting too early. Sounds like SD is going to interview a fair few before making a decision.

So it could be a while before the actual rumours of 'it's going to be xyz' start.
