So there’s no make or break meeting going on today then. How come Methven can talk about it in the Telegraph whereas Donald was saying next to nowt the other day? The Non Disclosure has to end at some point!

Well, if they did we already have a lot to thank them for. If SD was making all the decisions we would still be stuck with the hapless Ross. Let's hope SD's next major decision - the new manager - is better than the last one!

Donald keeps banging on about sustainability.

We are not sustainable in this division, full stop. The fixed costs far outweigh any income we’d get in this league.

The academy funding would have to go, potentially stands closed, sponsorship money would all but disappear.

As it stands we are a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. The end of the season we either land in the Caribbean or we hit a ****ing iceberg.

It’s absolute **** or bust territory.

Why did the Americans create FPP Sunderland if a takeover wasn't intended all along.?

Maybe something's came up they didn't foresee?

Was hoping we would find out today but not looking likely.

Hence why promotion this year is absolutely vital, with additional investment secured now for that promotion we then become stable in the championship while players are replaced, developed or brought through the ranks then we go up to the premiership and they can earn some serious money back whilst having solid, sustainable foundations.

Anyone would think they had a plan

I firmly believe that was their original intention, which has now been delayed.

If we’d been playing well and winning, the process may have been smoother.

We haven’t looked remotely good enough to go up, even Americans with their more limited knowledge of the game would see that.

FPP will be the shareholder, not the 3 individuals is my guess

The absolute retards over the road, Jsd and The Rat, are loving it. I think they believe as there us no news Charlie should have made some news up.
We don't half have some duckheads supporting us.

I can imagine all the doom merchants over there are buzzing hoping it's off.

I just don't get it were all Sunderland fans should be pulling together.

Bet the ones you mentioned don't even go to the matches

We have to trust that SD has the club’s best interests at heart.
It’s like waiting for the papal enclave at the moment.

Jsdftm does, the rusty twat. The Rat doesn't actually exist, he is a modern day Jacob's ladder.

I'm reading what Charlie has said as a bit of a holding statement.

I mentioned the other day about tapered investment and the statement in a way hints at that. It makes the most sense all round.

With the crowds we get alone, we should be able to get out of this league.
Wilder did it first time with less and lesser players. Up in the c'ship they managed to get some investment from some arabs and agin with minimal spend got promoted to the premier. At the moment they are holding their own.
Money spent does not equate to success or sustainability.
We need to get the right manager in and get promoted and see how it goes from there.
It really ( Imho) has to be stendel.
