Why can't they use technology like they do in rugby? There is a continuous dialogue between the on field ref and the TMO to help ensure he gets decisions right. Surely that would work in football?
I know...from the other angle you can see the cab he caught to fetch the ball from the back of the net
To be honest I am beginning to hyper ventilate at the thought that he cou....nope *wheeze wheeze* ...can't fin....*wheeze* ish that sent ... *wheeze wheeze wheeze* ...ence
Milan fans are calling for the head of manager Stefano Pioli... before he's been given the job! He must be really looking forward to taking up his new post.
Understandable, given he was Inter coach for six months a couple of years ago - and not even a particularly good one, as his record was W14 D3 L10
hmmmm... bit of paranoia much. Where was Pools trophy last season in the PL. they'd have loved to have handed it to them then especially since they were nearly home and dry before spaffing it up p.s. mane dived
Notts County narrowly missed out on buying Barcelona's Gerard Pique in the summer. No, wait, Barcelona's Gerard Pique narrowly missed out on buying Notts County in the summer. That's the one. Shakira at Meadows Lane? Maybe not, eh?
The narrative of Pep the All Conquering Managerial Genius Who Doesn't Need An Open Cheque book to Win Stuff was in full swing last season. That narrative is now well and truly out of the way, and so begins the narrative of This Year is Our Year. The sad thing is that this Pool team is objectively good enough to win the league without subtle leg-ups from officials every other week. And to echo what DH has said, I wouldn't mind them winning it - as they have done things the 'right way' off the pitch - but their fans are so ****ing annoying. And that's just the ones in London. I cannot imagine what actual Scousers must be like.
I disagree. I think last season's points total was also due to an awful lot of luck, thinking of things like Pickford's brainfart and Palace having to play them with their 3rd choice keeper who handed them the points. I think it's only natural for people to believe that over the course of a season, a team that gains so many points must have earned them. However this does not take into account that every point has been the results of specific circumstances, and just because "official help" and luck happened so many times does not mean that it shouldn't be discounted.
