TV shows you expected to be good but turned out bad

    What TV shows would you say you were looking forward to watch , but when you watched it , it turned out to be quite bad


    my choice would be The Bill , a Mate kept banging on about how great it was , so i watched it and didnt like it

    I'm usually disappointed with the 10 o'clock news, it's much the same as the 6 o'clock news.

    Whatever happened to those "And finally..." moments on the news when we had a cheery clip of a domesticated animal doing something funny?

    You know, tell us what a bad place the world is but a kitten fell in a goldfish bowl. Go to bed happy.

    People rave about West West. I persevered for the whole of series 1, but found it a load of smaltzy, saccharin, American ****e.

    Sons of Anarchy is another series people seem to love. I watched the first one but haven't been too impressed so far.
