It would have to be a quick dismissal of Ross mind seeing as there was so little time between Nixon's tweet and Ross's sacking confirmed.

Depends, the leak might have been at any time, Donald might have got wind that it was going to press and then had the discussion with Ross , the tweet might then have been several hours after Nixon was told about it (as reporters generally spend a while trying to confirm a story first before putting it out, in fact Nixon might have contacted Donald to ask directly first). I just can't see past the two things being linked

To be honest my mind is scrambled with this rollercoaster of rumour, hearsay and confusion.

Lets just hope we get the right manager in and results improve. New investment would be good but it's the new manager who we rely on the most to get us out of this league.

Must admit after Lincoln game time had ran out for me for Ross
But without takeover talks in the back ground the timing of his sacking is strange
A few hours before a game and only a couple of hours after posting an article from Ross about tonight's game on the club site.
Looking at James Fowler in his post match interview he looks stunned "sacking happened late in the day"
He's close to Ross but doesn't look like he knew anything about it.
Somethings happened today to force Donald's hand.
Is he deflecting from a failed takeover or is he salvaging the takeover time will tell.

In all honesty I can't see why the American's would want anything than a total buy out. Donald might not be perceived as whiter than white due to his personal life and Sartori's links with Rybolovlev? Can't see anything other than total take-over or forget it.

This whole thing should be a salutary lesson for donald and methven.
Their quaint communications strategy might work at the likes of eastleigh.
It just doesnt have the legs at a club of the size and potential of safc.
He needs to take a step back and count to 10 before he gets on twitter.
It's a big business not an ego hobby.
I remain unconvinced that either of them are up to taking us further.
You need a take no prisoners type not an I want to be everyone's mate type.
It has come back to bite him on the ar5e..hence the furious backpedaling we are witnessing

With regards to the Sun article, it’s not unusual for one newspaper to get the exclusive and then others run with it for the following days papers, usually appearing on twitter later at night.
As far as I can see no other nationals have run with it and all the other reports have been re-hashes of the Sun exclusive. Straw and clutching maybe

Donald’s mentions of investment suggest to me he’s still looking to remain involved beyond any share sale
The Sun have been ahead of everyone with news about this takeover, Alan Nixon seems confident that the buyers are no longer keen.

Yeah I know, it’s just unusual for other papers not to run with a story, like I say it’s probably straw and clutching
