Serious takeover talk

I was told, by someone who is well connected, that a 'talk the talk' deadline has been put at close of play on Wednesday.

After that it's walk the walk if it's not all agreed.

That's all I can say on that subject.

I have a busy day so won't be on much unless I have real news.

Hopefully that's the case and we can put it to bed one way or another. Hopefully the good way.

 

I've been told by a friend who's relative works at the club that it's all done, and just waiting to be announced. Seemingly there are a few things floating about! My pal could even be filling me full of sh**e.

I just want it done, either way. It's getting like brexit ffs.

 

I bastard well hope not cos I don’t mind waiting till Thursday morning if it means we don’t bin them.

Be good to get a resolution to it. Have a funny feeling the deadline will have been set by the buyers mind, I suppose them being ruthless will be useful if they take over and are then on our side

Thats the thing.. all this uncertainty is probably a good thing.. means they are being diligent and ruthless about everything.

That last bloke Campbell apparently had picked out his office at the SoL already in the early stages.

I think there will be but, if it goes ahead, the leaks will be a matter of minutes before the announcement. Once anyone gets anything concrete saying it's done they'll want to get the release out to announce it on their own terms, rather than having it public knowledge for hours first. I'm absolutely certain we'll know by the end of this week like, everything sounds like it's been accelerated as they try to work out whether they can agree on the last few details. **** or get off the pot time
