That's exactly right, blono. There was no reason whatsoever to invade Iraq. Hussein was a bastard, but only to his own people. He didn't step outside his own borders (well, maybe just a little bit), but was no threat to the US and, i believe, was not involved in the attack on the twin towers. The yanks couldn't find Binladen and needed to, as you say, to 'kick some arse' and satisfy their lust for some revenge and he was simply handy.

Rest of your post, yes, it's right what you say about Trump, he is a business man and should have stayed one. He doesn't have the emotional capacity or mental stability to be the leader of a world power.

Re the original post. Times have changed. We now live in a quick fix society where people take their news from some twitter ‘influencer’. Someone can make sh*t up and 5 million ardent followers will repeat it as gospel. Noise can shout down truth. Like when chesh starts posting in capitals with excess doh emoji’s.

No one in power has to resign in shame any more because they have no shame and not enough people care enough to take them to account .

If you have Netflix watch “Designated Survivor” we’re 3/4 through season one, excellent so far. I know it’s make believe and not wishing anyone dead but the idea of clearing everyone out and starting fresh with a man who has morals is very appealing watching this.

 

I’m sure we’ll all give a listening ear and words of advice if you feel now is the time to get it off your chest

Morning all. I assume everyone would like their leader to make their life better.You say people don't care about anyone lying if it became common place for everyone to tell lies the world would be in chaos before Christmas.I don't regard paying a complement as lying.

 

Watched all 3. Excellent series. Keeps you going right to the end.

 

Nice to know that as I wondered if they would be able to keep it going for three series

 

I thought it tailed off, first two series were good though.
