Should have put a health warning in your thread title, SW3 CT, - not to be read whilst eating your tea! Nauseating.

At least a good attempt at a searching interview/questions by PB, deflected in the usual manner. I’ve said before and say again, history has taught us we cannot believe anything that comes out from the gruesome twosome.

Charm offensive, new PR person in place - no one tells them how to run their business... Only one thing driving this “charm offensive,” incoming dosh dropping off.

HCST Statement Re: Ehab Allam Interview Hull Daily Mail 7th October 2019

In relation to the interview with Ehab Allam in which he states that there was a strained relationship with the Hull City Supporters Trust, leading to its exclusion from Supporters Committee meetings, we would like to state that the Trust have tried on numerous occasions to find middle ground. Yes there have been problems between personalities on both sides, however these have been in the past and it is time we moved on.

The Trust have always had the success of Hull City and its supporter’s enjoyment at heart.

We would prefer to move forward and re-build the previously good relationship between the Club and Hull City Supporters Trust, and the Trust have tried to maintain some contact with the club and find some compromise, however the Club have been unwilling to have any form of dialogue.

After a recent change in board personnel our new Secretary has approached the Club with this objective in mind. We have, however received no reply to her letter.

This could be considered to be a rejection of any form of dialogue towards the Trust. If Mr Allam, or any of his staff would like to contact us to discuss how we could have a future together, we would invite them to contact [email protected].

And the group doesn't benefit by owning a football club

Has Ehab never heard of corporation tax, and the ability to offset football club losses against allam marine, thus reducing the groups overall tax position!

Don't treat us as bloody fools (again) Ehab , learn from your mistakes!

You obviously don't reside in a desperate, disaster riddled 3rd World country then ?
I'm excluding the Duchy of Kingston-upon-Hull in my assumption of course. Siemens to the rescue perhaps !

This is what irks me the most, they treat the fans as if we are all idiots. What I feel his replies in this interview are the spirt that they are said in. The changes they have made feel as if they have been done begrudgingly and not with a feeling of reconciliation. Probably that was always going to be the case, and we just have to grin and bear it, but it evident that they have no idea how to deal with people that attend football games, but of course we have known this all along.

On a positive front, the changes they are making are welcomed, and I do hope it starts to attract back fans who have not been going, but I know for some it will never be the same until they have left.

Totally agree John. Their insincerity is so obvious.

It bemuses me to see the odd poster on here comparing supporter integrity & sacrifice with Allam stubbornness.

It's possible that supporter action (reduced attendance) may be having the desired effect. I say possibly, I may be deluded given the owners deceitful track record.

Perhaps the blight that is our club ownership is finally heeding advice that suggests client engagement & recognition are paramount to the asset value of the club they are trying to offload.

They clearly have overestimated the price potential buyers would be (sensibly) willing to pay. The PL parachute payments masked the get out strategy reality for the Allams. Their sordid actions against the supporter base (it's a long list) not only has alienated their "customers" - past, present and future, but have put off potential new custodians who would recognize those lost customers are critical to moving forward as a going concern.
They've played it very badly in my opinion.

Sure they are making a decent dividend (interest rate) on their loan. By overpricing their expectations on the selling price and by depleting their player assets they'll continue to entrench themselves in the mire & eventually lose (not recoup their "investment" in a reasonable time frame).

Sadly so, as the supporters will have lost the promise that was on the horizon just a few seasons ago after over 100 years of attempting to get there.

in the summer of 2011 i bought myself a new boat. when i was trying it our, the engine stopped working and the lights all went off. i couldn't get any of it to work, so i called out the r.a.c., the royal aquaboat club. the man arrived on this motorboat and sidecar and checked the boat over. he told me the génerator had packed in and that i should call a.a. he gave me a card with the number of a.a. on it. i rang the number and a foreign sounding bloke answered. i explained about the boat the electrics going kaput. he told me he would sell me a generator to replace the dead one. i went round to his place and looked at the generators and we agreed a price for one that would do the job. i went home expecting them to let me know when it would be delivered so i could use my boat. six months later i'd heard nothing, so i rang them again. they said they'd rebranded their generators. they were now called leckymakers and since my order was for a generator i'd have to reorder it under the new name. this seemed a bit stupid, but i ordered a leckymaker and awaited delivery. four months later, i'd heard nothing, so i rang again, and they said they were having difficulty fulfilling the order because they'd relocated all the leckymakers to the other end of their premises and some of them had made some odd noises, so they'd had to stop going to work, and hadn't been to work for more than three months, so hadn't been able to fulfill the order. i asked what they were going to do and they suggested i met them at a neutral venue to discuss my problem. we arranged a date and time, but when the date came, i turned up only to find a secretary and a gardner there, but no sign of the owners. the secretary assured me that there was no reason why i couldn't have a leckymaker, because lots of people that had wanted leckymakers now had leckymakers. the gardner assured me that he would tell the owners about my problems and he hoped that perhaps one day i might have a leckymaker. nothing happened for a few months, and then i found an online forum for users of generators. i posted about the problems i was having trying to buy a generator for my boat and that was when i discovered the owners had an account on the same forum. everytime i posted, they'd troll me with comments about how i didn't have any money to buy one of their leckymakers and how i wouldn't be the kind of customer they'd want to take one of their leckymakers forward in an ongoing positive upward manner. i rang them to complain and they told me i'd never placed an order with them. i said i had and still wanted one. they said they no longer sold leckymakers but might sell me a generator, but it would cost me fifty million pounds. i said i didn't have that much and, in any case, home bargains were selling them for only twenty grand. they said we might be able to negotiate and they would get back to me. now every time i try to ring i just get an answermachine with a message saying that nobody called allam lives there, nobody called allam has ever lived there, and they did not know what a marine generator was. eight years have no passed and on saturday i went to where my boat was, only to find it had been sunk. i'm pretty fed up, as you might guess, and i'm wondering how much boats are at home bargains. if i can get one cheap enough, i might buy a patio set and chimnea for it as well.

'I’ve apologised before haven’t I? We have apologised in the past and we’ve rectified things'.

    Has he apologised?
When in the past did that happen?
Google has no record of it.

“We do have debts owed to the family but how does anyone value a club?” he said. “We’ve looked at the valuation and what the squad is worth and we’ve done an assessment."

    Its bollocks that they twist.

In the past it has reliably been reported that Daddy Allam priced the club at the level of debt to Allam marine, £50M.

You cannot believe/trust a word they say

There really isn't much debate to have about asking prices. If people don't want to buy it then it's too expensive. If it's only available at a price which is higher than anyone is willing to pay then it isn't really for sale.

Up until the end of the parachute payments, they didn't give a ****
Now, all of a sudden, the books don't look too clever and they start to pretend they do give a ****.

    1. apologise for telling the fans they are irrelevant and that they can die
    2. give back the money for subsidised away travel that you gave to other teams fans and subsidise some of this seasons away travel
    3. hold proper fans forums with all interested parties with fans representing the fans rather than Ehabs own selection
    4. introduce proper concessions and not divisive systems designed to cause unrest between fans
5 introduce a system designed to attract the next generation of fans
    6 then **** off

A Google search for Assem Allam includes a few words at the bottom of the page:

"Some results may have been removed under data protection laws in Europe."

Anything to hide or be embarrassed about?
