Err... can't remember which side I used to butter it on, but my instinct says the indentation side.

Do you have a bicycle which you would use more if it wasn't such a bleeding effort getting up those hills. Well how about a quick e-bike conversion? Have a look at this. Just launched:

For anyone like me who likes a “bit of butter” it’s a no brainer ...... you get a lot more butter on the indentation side :emoticon-0110-tongu

Yeah. I seem to remember spreading butter once on the smooth side. One quickly learned.

But isn’t Ryvita used in a diet, or have things changed since I last ate one?

You know which side it falls on when dropped.
Marmite with butter, without or not at all?

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I don't think a lot will change by deleting stuff.

Over the last 5 years we have refreshed our hardware in our 24-7 data centre twice. Each time we have acquired more storage for less power and more servers using less hardware, using virtual machines/virtual NAS etc. The hardware is also becoming more efficient - we use lower power storage systems compared to the storage hanging off a high powered server. I don't have the figures but I would estimate that we have trebled our storage capacity and halved the power consumption. These data centres have to be on 24/7, this will not change. GDPR helps and hinders storage of data as well.

However, as a well known supermarket says "every little helps" so it's not a bad thing to do, but I think there are a lot more pressing areas to save energy :)

    God I sound bah humbug don't I :)

I would think the main issue is the air con in the warehouses, rather than the servers themselves.

I’d prefer it without the moths I think!

Well!! What do you expect! This is worse than not messaging me about a row; not messaging me about a foodie chat!

Were they actually selling it, or was it just, sort of lying around looking delicious? You've got to watch out for unscrupulous cheese dealers - they lure you in with "gateway" cheeses like that, and before you know it, you're buying Casu Marzu
