Bloody hell keep a name for 10 minutes. They beat Chelsea on the first day of the season, the 2 teams are very different now to then - Chelsea were doing a lot of experimenting, fitting new players in each, Man U players were committing and playing well at the time. Since then Chelsea have sorted themselves out and are playing well and Man U have just become a complete mess - if they played each other now Chelsea would rip them apart. Arsenal are unpredictable, and sometimes have off days, but an on form Arsenal team would smash that Man U team that played yesterday, and Liverpool will definitely tear them a new one in a few weeks.
I like my new name yesterday we played well and we had 5 new starters from Leicester and im encouraged. man united beat Leicester and beat Chelsea man united is always a good win especially for us considering we are relegation candidates once again literally any game is a big win in the prem and only the fans of the formerly dominant clubs are failing to acknowledge that ..
Everyone thought we'd be smashed by United, when we play well and win it's meaningless. Like I've said many times, Newcastle is one of the hardest jobs in England and it's mostly fan pressure that causes it. Only managers too big for the fans to criticise have it easy ala Benitez.
The fans do cause issues I've been ridiculed for suggesting so man united fans are making us look amateurs though … been waiting on it for 20 years …. all that success is causing them problems now !! too much of anything is a bad thing.. ahhhh bliss
Hull City supporter here, come to see what you think of Bruce after the great win against Manchester Utd. It broke my heart when he left us but I bear him no ill will because our owners are about as likeable as your own and he'd reached the end of his patience with them. Bruce is the most successful manager we have ever had.The facts are that he got us promoted to the PL in his first season, kept us in the division for consecutive seasons, got relegated, but brought us straight back up. We played in Europe for the first time in our history and got to the final of the FA Cup - something, as someone who has supported the club since 1973, I never thought I'd witness. Added to that, he brought through Andy Robertson and Harry Maguire. I'm saddened to see those who question his allegiance to Newcastle. Yes, he managed the Wearsiders, but the man is ambitious and at the time was suffering from the once common but now almost defunct mental disorder of mistaking them for a big club. Does anyone really doubt that Bruce is a Geordie to his marrow? He isn't, perhaps, the most sophisticated tactician and he values hard work and effort as his number one priority, sometimes at the expense of creativity and flair, but maybe that balance will change as he works with better players. Also, it's almost guaranteed that the players will be happy playing for him. I hope you lot get behind your manager because I think you will finish in the top ten this season. Good luck!
