Aye, a post I probably shouldn't have made as Iv'e barely seen him, or most of our squad. I wouldn't know most of our players if I caught them in bed with Mz Kempton. Kempton: Who the **** are you then you terrible ****? Footballer: I'm sorry Kemps, I really am, I'm Jordy de Wijs, I play for Hull City. Kemps: What position? Jordy: Erm... Mz Kemps: All of them So anyway, I shouldn't pass judgement based on what I read on here. Maybe I'll sneak into the Derby game. I'm not paying nine quid though
That's the sort of ****e you come out with when you are starting to lose the dressing room - perhaps some of the players are starting to think he's a bit of a nob - leaving out Henriksen is just being a dick at the end of the day
I think we are not doing too badly but if Bowen and Grosiki are stifled then we have a few issues. Top six side ? The table doesn’t lie.
When he first came, I reserved judgement on him till i'd seen 10 games or so, well Saturday was his tenth game and I have to say, I still have my doubts about him, his interview with burnsy about Henriksen a few weeks back was something of a car crash from his point of view,he came across as a bit of a vindictive type( yes Henriksen didn't come out of it smelling of rose's either)then when a manger starts saying, "its my way or the highway" about his player's in public then he's storing up problems that will manifest it self with results on the field in the future, remarks like that should be kept in the dressing room and not at post match press interviews.
If Bowen and Turbo are on their way in January, then we will be left with nothing up top! As for midfield, they don't score enough goals either, only Irvine has scored relatively regularly, though Stewart hopefully may get a few more now he's off the mark.
I see the Henriksen scenario as the club simply ensuring as best as possible that he goes in January and they can recoup a small fee as opposed to nothing come the season end. If he's not playing, him and his agent should be focused on the end game, getting out the club.
Minor detail I know, but I thought Saturday was his 11th league game... Won 3...Drawn 4....Lost 4... Hardly top 6 form! ...Still early days..I recall Palace being bottom six at Christmas under Dowie, and getting promoted. So its possible. Though I suspect a lot of clutching of straws would have to take place for that to occur.
First Nigel and now ‘Terry’ both stabbed in the back after just a few games. No wonder the owners cannot find a buyer... Allams OUT
No harm in having ambition, but any sensible fan can see this squad is way off making that happen! Never in any month, never mind a month of Sundays!
For us he could'nt win away. Lost at home to Sunderland and finished the season with a 1-7 home defeat. Rather wasted any good he had achieved here for me.
