No mate, a big meeting that sounded positive.

    But London, not Sunderland.

I'd expect they've seen enough of the SOL by now tbh and no need to stir up the locals.

Billionaires can be anonymous in the right parts of London.

Am I to presume that it may involve meeting the EFL? :emoticon-0126-nerd:

To be fair mate with all the previous information you’ve shared over the weeks that seems the most plausible given the two scenarios.
I’m presuming that’s from a source closer than a reporter and my mood levels are on the rise again. :emoticon-0105-wink:

No offence mate but I can't keep pace with all my messages and questions.

I've said all I'm saying until I hear some more definite info that I can divulge.

    Great offence taken there.

I jest, I'm happy to wait until you've heard something definitive. I'll sit here happily in my imagination that they've set up a meeting with the EFL to sign off before an announcement being heralded from Buckingham Palace.

My thinking exactly. The stadium alone is probably worth more than the buying price. They could buy a Premiership club for £250-350m and could be relegated within 2 seasons. I can’t believe that they would be concerns about the cost of getting into the Premiership when they’d be getting a debt free club with everything in place for next to nowt.

If the meetings in London and it’s a positive one have to imagine they’d tie the EFL meeting in there.

    Wishful thinking.

On reflection, if a "big" meeting has been arranged in London, it does seem strange to have something organised that would involve travel plans etc etc just to say "Thanks but no thanks" that could be done by phone and email or is that being over simplistic
