I personally don't believe anything that's leaking from anything like WhatsApp messages, if there ever were any genuine leaked messages from a private group then Donald etc would know not to post anything else in there in future because it can't be trusted not to get out.

I also doubt he's getting out of meetings and spreading around the outcome amongst people who can't keep their traps shut.

although my gut instinct tells me this has gone tits-up I find it difficult to believe that a business deal involving professionals at the top of their field would signal problems/cancellation of a proposed deal on WhatsApp

 

Hope it's a false rumour to smoke out leakers

Was the good bit of news this morning an announcement of the completion, Riv.

 

This being Sunderland my natural reaction is to think "sod it, it's off, what did you expect?"

However, if the Americans are serious about buying into English football the optimist in me thinks "I can't seriously think of another club that gives them a better opportunity to buy into a club with as many positives as SAFC" - thinking in terms of pure debt held, infrastructure already in place and potential.

If this falls apart, it's their loss not ours.

 

Let's just hope one way or another it's sorted soon, this is no good for anyone's sanity. **** me, when it started I thought "I'll not do much work this week". I'm now about a month into doing **** all, going to end up sacked before long! Mind, it's pretty telling that even when I do next to nowt no one notices!
